Any
comprehensive set of beliefs and even governing laws of nature share a charming
characteristic: evolution. Those who remain trapped in a static world are the lost
souls who navigate the Paris catacombs without a flashlight.
Antimatter rockets designed for interstellar propulsion contain a supreme annihilating force and an unparalleled energy density comprised in a small package. Space science for ordinary people reminded me of my occasionally mischievous offspring at home.
A remission of past transgressions by the Vicar should precede oratory virtues. This is an honorable habit to retain credibility and to invite the congregation to act in kind.
Bittersweet in action: the release of an adopted seal pup. No better place than to roam free despite the finality of a severed bond. As we have noticed with our daughters: there appears to be a correlation between age and the dominant taste.
Thanksss Kerttu!!! 😊🙏 I looked for in my language and there is a proverb about nood which is Dutch for emergency. And there is a proverb that says:
"Als de nood het hoogst is, is de redding nabij."
So in English that means if the emergency is the HIGHEST, the rescue is close. And it means that there will always be a rescue somehow so also often if people dont expect it. And i think that is close to it what ur proverb said. But we dont use that proverb in Dutch really at least not we but maybe @Dracula, @Savi2024, @BartL or @Fleurke can tell about if they use it. For me it is more like OLD Dutch proverb so i dont really say it.

My friend only uses it sometimes if we get a new beer at the pub lol, but rarely hear it besides that.
