DEEPER REFLECTION

Every person has something they are particularly good at. Some skill,
a keen sense of perception, or a special talent. I’m not talking here
about someone who has practised for a long time, etc. — although
that too can certainly be a special ability. Some people are simply
good at training themselves. So gift right from the moment of birth.
I enjoy writing — strange enough, given that I was diagnosed with
dyslexia in the fourth year of primary school.

On the other hand, out of over thirty classmates, a double-digit per-
centage were given the same diagnosis. The teachers were probably
focusing on that at the time, so they weren’t exactly stingy about
handing out those diagnoses.

The nonsense was exposed a year later.

Well, dyslexia isn’t limited to one’s mother tongue alone, and my
classmates, as well as myself, demonstrated quite good skills in
our English lessons. Our German ‘teacher’ taught several classes,
and the same phenomenon was evident in all of them. She was
our form tutor for four years and always had two or three favourite
pupils. I don’t know what the rest of the teaching staff were up to
in the staff room — but the nonsense should have been exposed.

My generation was subjected to similar practices on a physical
level. Many boys were given hormone injections … to bring
their testicles down, and girls were advised at a very early age
to use hormone treatments to prevent early pregnancy. In later
years, we were all then served up HIV... to throw the freedom
we had gained back into the Stone Age. So what is my special
quality or ability?

My unshakeable belief — in the 'Higher Power' in the universe!

Our collective consciousness, no matter how developed it may
be, is the one and only consciousness found everywhere. There
is no other. The more someone tries to convince me of anything,
the more certain they are of their defeat. Nothing and no one can
convince me of anything. I remain steadfast in the expression
granted to me. Let just say: I am stubben…

Today, I find this to be an incredible comfort. I actually feel like
a 25-metre-tall elm tree standing amidst the fields, with endless
stories to tell. Thunderstorms, lovers who proved their affection
beneath my branches and leaves, cold and long winters, wars and
times of drought... I have experienced it all and taken it all in....

In Germany, it is illegal to sell organic tobacco as a 'smoking product.

WHY?

Tobacco is an excellent remedy for eliminating parasites in the body.

who warned of this at an early stage. The masses looked the
other way. It might be total natural but even though everyone
had to bear the consequences....

Misunderstandings arise time and again. I believe that these can
sometimes be just as helpful as the hurdles we stumble over.
Those who are genuinely interested will not be deterred by
them. Rather, they use these moments as an opportunity.

We can see the true faces in such moments far easier....

How does a person make peace with their partner? By threatening
violence if they don’t do as they’re told? By having a cupboard full
of weapons in the living room, controlling as much as possible?

Is the process of making peace between nations any different
from that between married couples and families...? No, it's not.

'War', in my opinion, is an escalation of little daily wrongs,
until it become unbearable to go any further as usual.

...I now understand better why people do things — even if they
do not fully comply with the community’s rules. I’ve tried a few
such things myself, just to understand the behaviour authentically,
although I didn’t harm anyone in the process.

Based on these experiences, I can state with complete certainty
that I personally do NOT feel comfortable with white lies, false
pretences and the like — I clearly distance myself from them.

Whether it’s down to looks or not, beautiful young Ladies get more
visitors than old fogies. It’s a perfectly natural State-of-Affairs

We old blokes just have to make sure we shine through depth,
appropriate behaviour and irresistible charm. 🙂f course, that’s
not so easy, which is why the wiser among us are asking for
help from the beautiful females -- instead of 'killing' them.

Well, the answers are there. It just seems, that we do not want to listen, my dear.

1. Every individual must follow their own path. It is our real duty.

2. The greatest gift we can possibly receive is the realisation,
beyond mere thought and belief, that our own lives have meaning.

3. Voluntarily confining oneself to the vague states of apparent
security in order to 'escape' suppressed fears is the most
dangerous of all illusions. (avoiding to walk our own path)

4. When you look into the eyes of a loved one, you realise that
material wealth and status are of no significance whatsoever.

5. All the answers must be found within yourself. At best,
theory is merely a pointer in the right direction.

6. If you want to learn something meaningful, sit in a quiet
place for a few minutes twice a day, without doing anything
else. Once you’ve managed that, extend the session to two
one-hour sessions.

7. Our body will die. What remains are the consequences
of our own actions. (Lord Buddha ... still true)

In the future, 'Silicone Boys and Girls' will take care of our needs.
They don’t complain either when you simply ‘use’ them … at
least for a while.

The way ‘in which’ something happens and is portrayed is one of
life’s greatest riches. I like minimalism too … but only as long as
it helps us to become aware of what really matters.

Placing particular emphasis on, and insisting with great vigour on,
how content one is with one’s achievements usually proves only
one thing:

That one’s imagination has reached its limits. From that point on,
the course is set for failure and suffering.

It is a well-established fact for all those who value their own
experience more highly than mere ideas.

When we consciously accept our lives, all the 'skeletons' we have
buried will sooner or later come to light. Every individual carries
such skeletons and the associated experiences with them.

There are no exceptions!

The skeletons that remain buried mean that we move through the
streets as if in the dead of night. In such a state, it is impossible
to tell a friend from a potential enemy.

...in my view, losing to a better athlete or player is no disgrace.
The loser can still emerge as a great figure by showing respect
to their opponent.

Many winners these days tend to forget this admirable aspect
of life. They are, in my eyes, the real losers.

Penpal Gate isn’t dead. That said, we do end up with a never-ending list
of missed opportunities and situations here. It is a blessing, though, to
know that most of the conversations take place outside the public forums. 🙂

If you spend more than thirty minutes a day on our platform, you really
should take a moment to reflect on the content of your conversations.
YES, PARENTS should guide their teenagers and not let them get away
with everything....
