SELF AWARENESS
Preamble

The fact that we can now produce high-gloss, distortion-free mirrors and
use digital cameras – including those in mobile phones – has not led to us
knowing ourselves any better. When photographers still had to use film
and paper, this naturally led them to approach the process with greater
awareness. Today, masses of photos are simply taken and a visually appea-
ling image is selected. However, this does not necessarily have anything to
do with the person who was photographed or the photographer is very
aware of him or herself.

>>> FAR TO OFTEN IT IS JUST A FLAT IMAGE

The same applies to the morning glance in the mirror. A cat also sees the
image of a cat, but has not the faintest idea of who it is looking at.

>>> As a rule; People simply see what they want to see.

In both cases, this is a 'dilemma' with far-reaching consequences. BUT, it is
easy to check whether this is different. In the presence of a Self-Realised
Soul, we are reflected in all our aspects. We then see, above all, everything
we usually repress. The scope for 'ideas and fantasies' is then very limited.

Of course, we’re not in any danger of automatically feeling exposed to this.
We can simply carry on pretending 'WE-KNOW-WHO-WE-ARE' and just see
what we want to see....

Yes, I believe it is possible to find something like a soulmate. I also believe
in the unconditional existence of love. I don’t believe for a moment that a
life shared by two people over several decades can be spent with nothing
but a smile on their faces ... not even in Golden Ages!

To be honest, I’d rather pitch my tent on the dark side of the moon to escape that... 😛

Well, I don’t believe in coincidences... even though we possess free will
and have a say in shaping our own destiny.

I believe in Compassion as a State-of-Awareness.

I believe that we humans are Beings-of-Light, all of us! We are like photons,
and that is why we can also concentrate our power. If you concentrate 10
per cent of the photons in a light source, the remaining 89 per cent flow
towards that concentrated beam. Humans have so far used this to achieve
‘success’ almost excludingly in wars, shame on us. A fact that has always
caused me difficulty....

WHY? I love physics and mathematics.
I simple like use them for support.

I once saw a beautiful, wonderful film whose name I no longer remember. How wonderful it would be to meet your soulmate, a person who brings out the best in you, who does not judge your past, a partner who helps you grow, understanding each other without speaking, whose touch feels like magic flowing through your body. Unfortunately, nowadays few people can say they found their soulmate. I attribute the reason for this to a lack of communication, understanding, and trust, and the belief that the grass is always greener on the other side. Additionally, you have to be willing to make an effort every single day to work on the beautiful or less beautiful moments.

A soulmate? We first had to re-establish our true belief
in the soul, Lady de Fleur. I guess many people would
not even notice their soulmate -- just too busy... 😋🥰

Well, when it comes to LOVE, I don’t have the slightest
problem looking like a fool. To be perfectly honest,
that’s just my natural state anyway. The rest will be

I have no idea WHY I am the way I am. I have been confronted
time and again with the fact that 'This-Is-WHO-I-Am'.

My guess is that EVERYONE here in our forum will go through
a similar process if they want to find out whether they can
manage to embrace their uniqueness as the greatest of all
possible gifts, rather than unquestioningly bowing to society’s
abstract norms and expectations.

Even if it may seem otherwise, society needs especially this
uniqueness that comes naturally with us in order to meet
the challenges that lie ahead.

P.S. Creativity is not just a gift; it always comes hand in hand with the
'need-to-decide' how and for what purpose one wishes to use it.

Taking the first bites of your post, was so overwhealming
that my tears were flowing, Michael

I guess in the meantime everybody knows that we meet in real
at least once a week and this since more than twenty years.

It`s not that Michael is trying to change me, manipulate me as
some already were telling me. It`s about getting to know my Self
and live it. I`ve seen a lot of people who were spiritually on a higher level.
But when it came to a confrontation with deeper levels of theirselfs,
they finally quit.
I know that struggle when I get to see who I am on a deeper level and
I don`t like what I see...or I am afraid what others may say when they
discover that part of me. There are so many houses of cards that collaps
on the way. To realise that the fundament of the house is not properly
built is very challenging.

But it is worth it!

Who wants to live in a house which is built on a ramshakle fundament?!

Yesterday I also visited Michael:
Reading this post was so overwhealming
because it is the essence of that meeting.
It is the essence of all our past meetings.

Your foundation is more than secure, Christine. It is now time to
build a house upon it. We build these ‘spiritual’ houses within our
hearts. The architecture is the same as that found throughout
the universe. Parents 'manipulate' their children. They prepare
them for society. When the offspring are finally able to live in-
dependently, they unconsciously follow their programming.

It is time to understand that all this nonsense-in-the-world,
is also a reflection of our programming. Some of these pro-
gramming patterns were absolutely essential for growing up,
but need to be re-assessed later in life. In any case, we should
strive to live with nature, rather than against it....

...as teenagers, we sometimes think we don’t need to look after
our 'skin', or that it doesn’t really matter which 'cream' we use.
Well, it’s easy enough to explain what’s going on here.

Next time you are in town, just sit on a bench for half an hour
or so, and then, watch the people go by.

Ayurveda describes three constitutional types: VATA, PITTA, KAPHA.
Put simply, these can be described as consciousness, mind and
body. Every person is born with a combination of these three in
varying proportions. It does not change over our liftime.

Lifestyle and dietary habits can also disrupt the doshas. In such
a case, for example, too much KAPHA may accumulate, leading
to inertia and lethargy. (catched-a-cold)

If someone accumulates too much VATA, this will manifest as
hyperactivity. It may then appear as though they are Hyper-
Aware, a bit like 'enlightened', but in reality this person is like
a torn leaf in the wind and all-over-the-place.

We call the birth-constitution Prakriti and it is shown in the
birth-chart-horoskop. The desturbed variation of is called,
Prakruti. If someone lives its Prakriti, happjness and peace
is the state. From Prakruti all illness ad suffering arrives.

Generally we distinguish 7 basic-types:

Vata Prakriti (air)
Pitta Prakriti (fire)
Kapha Prakriti (earth-water)
Vata Pitta Prakriti
Pitta Kapha Prakriti
Kapha Vata Prakriti
Tridosha

wouldn’t want to change a single thing.

If you don’t want any new answers, you’d be better off
not asking questions. On the other hand, if you think,
you could escape new answers, think again. It is the
very definition of naivety.

In any case: There is wisdom in listening.

...on the other hand, any reasonably intelligent person must
also accept that awareness cannot simply be instilled by an
essay, however interesting it may be to them personally.

Ultimately, it all boils down to one specific aspect: Are we
prepared to ask questions and, more importantly, open
to answers -- beyond our current capabilities?

The so-called civilised and rational human being exists,
but only in theory. Human beings are sentient beings,
and if that were ever to change, humanity would have
been replaced by robots....

...of course, I can understand why people sometimes simply piece together
an image of me and give priority to their limited imagination. But that does
not alter the fact that I never make any effort to 'clip-young-people’s-wings'
That will happen soon enough through school, university and society....

My aim is to help young people establish a Self-Confidence and Awareness
that genuinely serves their development and does not merely allow them
to function within an assigned role.

...whenever fear prevails in a nation, the solution is sought in a
more totalitarian form of leadership. Such leaders rarely have
peace in their hearts, This ultimately, because they reflect the
collective consciousness of the nation. That is why it is so
important to recognise these developments at an early stage
and to Confront-One’s-Own-Fears.

Peace is a state or an expression of a developed consciousness.
It is not determined by external events....

Yes, no one has much trouble imagining how everything can
change from one moment to the next... when it comes to
global disasters. A Tsunami, the Twin Towers, an Atomic
Bomb and the like. However, I have met very few people
who could see the same thing in a positive light.

Perhaps, ... we should start at least considering it....?
