I must apologize for the first male intrusion in this forum thread. Yesterday was a brief opportunity for us to discuss with our two young daughters at home the reason to celebrate this day dedicated to women across the globe. They were somewhat shocked to hear that the treatment of women is sub-par in numerous other parts of the world. Taking their innocent - and legitimate - perspective of equality for granted, is something that should be available to all female members of our global population.

Thank you very much @mayuuram!!! ๐๐ Can u maybe ask if it is celebrated also in Indonesia? We had in my country even a march in Amsterdam. You can see it here but it is in Dutch but still you can see it what it is like. It is more that ppl know abt the day but it is not really celebrated except that it comes in the news.
of course we celebrate it! We celebrate through campaigns, talk shows, zoom, etc. because feminists here are quite vocal, and not only women, many men also join in celebrating โบ๏ธ
