Thanks very much Marie @Txya for replying the questions!!! And i am super happy that in your interview we added the star emoji in the title but i cant add the moon too anymore!! And when you wrote about the ear piercings i was like 😵‍💫😵‍💫 bc i had NO idea what you meant but the picture helped a LOTTT!! 😛 For me ear rings did not really hurt but piercings hurt a lot more? One of my friends at school had infected ears where they shot the ear ring and it got super red and sore. 😨😦

Do you think you want more ear piercings or tattoos Marie? 😊😊😇

If anybody wants to post pictures of your tattoo if you are proud and want to share like Stasyyy @PinkiePie did in her interview you can do that below!! ⬇️⬇️ But if you prefer not that is of course not a problem bc it is also super private so you can keep it that way too if you prefer that. 🙂

Can I ask @Etienne, @diogenes_cask, @H_E_A_R_T, @Lianshen and @Piwipete and anybody else who wants to respond if you have a tattoo or piercings?

My earlobes didn't hurt either, but the piercings where the cartilage has to be pierced are painful. In my case, they stopped hurting after a short time, but if you accidentally catch the piercing e.g. with your hair, it still hurts because it hasn't healed at first. However, once it has healed completely, you can no longer feel it.🙂

I'd love to get more tattoos and piercings but as I said before, I don't want to be covered up by them. My tattoos and piercings are rather discreet and I just don't see myself fully pierced or tattooed

It seems that "carrying ink" is much more common in South America than in e.g. Europe. Of course tattoo studios can be found all over the globe and Europe is not an exception. But the number of tattoos and their visibility per individual seem to be taken to a higher level in at least parts of countries which we have visited in South America. @martutuni do you think that this is an accurate observation as regards Argentina?

Last summer in the magnificent Lençóis Maranhenses area in Brazil we even shared a ferry from the small beach town Atins to Barreirinhas with a heavily inked granny and her family. Our two daughters were impressed!

I would say America in its whole, as in the continent, is more heavily tattooed. But for some reason some years ago (idk about now) the most tattooed country was Italy! discussing it with my boyfriend we came to the conclusion that the “most tattooed” would come to quantity of people that have at least one tattoo over the number of the total population, because yes er are heavily tattooed in America! so that wouldnt make sense

I have 8 tattoos and had some piercings when i was younger (until i started judo)

Is it forbidden to have tattoos and piercings in judo?

@PinkiePie piercings and tattoos are not forbidden, piercings in training and competition should be out for safety and tattoos is ok ,and for myself i do special needs judo for disabled ppl

Nope. Never wanted on either. To me it is a big turn off. It is funny, a lot of people have tattoos to be different, but since it's pretty common now, it's not unique anymore. However, one time in America I had a gf and she wanted one. I went to the shop with her and watched how the artist did his work on her leg. Since I am an artist, it was pretty interesting to see how he did his work.

People get tattoos not to be special, but to fix something in their memory, to show people their hobbies and character. People like you think they're special because of their views, but they're not.

I don't have any tattoos or piercings and I wouldn't want any of them. I don't want any ink injected in my body. Tattoos look good on some people and it's impressive to see a fully tattood body, but it's defenitely not for me.

Our youngest daughter wants to get her first earrings, but will also start with her swimming lessons in about a week. Is there a material risk of infection and should we wait until the summer break? Or should this be fine? Any thoughts on this matter are gratefully received!

I had no contraindications to swimming, I had been in the water for 2 hours every day and everything was fine.

Many thanks for this. Very useful to know. With current chorine levels in swimming pools, I assume that the risk of infection is remote. Will of course double check with the local jewelry shop, but your comment confirms my initial thoughts.
