Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️

It is time for a new forum with facts of the day! The forum 🕰️🌞 What happened today? 🤷‍♀️🤓 had facts of what happened on each day in the PAST. But it took a bit longer to make than i expected every time!! 😛 So now i wanted to make a new forum with facts of the day and it will look a bit different. I hope that some may like to read it now or in the future. 🥳🥳

In this forum i will tell what is celebrated that day (like for example what i made on 🤗🌈 World Autism Awareness Day 🌞❤️). Now i KNOW that of course EVERY day you should think about stuff that has a separate day like World Autism Awareness Day or Valentine's Day or other days. BUTTTT it is nice to also have a separate day for EXTRA attention so that everybody reminds of it AND it can be important for some people and that is good enough. 🙂

I will make the first post now and post it today. Only if i think that a post is interesting for somebody special i will tag that person. 😊🥰🥰

Today is 12 April and it is:

➡️ International Day for Street Children

This Day was made to make people aware of the way street children live and that it is important to keep helping them. And of course everybody knows that BUTTT it is important to also remember and that really things are done. You can read more here about this Day

➡️ National Only Child Day

There is a Siblings Day but now also a National Only Child Day. On internet it says things like Happy Only Child Day and that you are fantastic so your parents did not want to have another child or that you should be happy bc you dont have to share. But if i could choose i would like to have rather a brother or sister. I dont know who are also members that are an only child. Would you prefer to have a sibling? And if you do have siblings: would you prefer to be an only child?

➡️ World Hamster Day

I have no idea why there is a World Hamster Day but i thought it is funny to mention!! 😛 So this is for all hamsters: 🐹🥰❤️❤️

If i have time later i will look up things that happened in the PAST on this date, but i dont have time now anymore!! 😛 So have a nice Saturday!! 🥳🥳

@Etienne told me after reading about World Hamster Day that he will now buy a hamster 🐹 and it can walk freely in the house (NO cage)!!! 😛 😛

It is actually a day in Slovakia where monks were prosecuted. But it is also a day for other victims of unfairly prosecution.

Palm Sunday is the last Sunday before Easter and it was the beginning of the last week of Jesus on earth. And he went into Jerusalem on a donkey and was cheered with palms by people who lived there. But maybe @diogenes_cask knows more about it i think. 🙂

I have a question for everybody who reads this forum. If you lived in 1912 and did NOT know about the disaster later with the iceberg and you would get a FREE VIP ticket to be on the Titanic. Would you have accepted it and been on the ship?

And i also want to say that a couple of days ago @Olga-T made a forum about the titanic too.

And interesting fact about Titanic is that some scientist calculated, that a fronture crash against the iceberg would have possibly avoid that the ship sunk.

But i thought they found out super late about the iceberg that they could not do anything anymore.

It was a panic reaction by them. And getting the bliue band was more important than safety.

I do like to read and i think a LOTTTT who are member here too. But still it is nice to have the Day even when i did not know it even existed! This is what i read about the day:
