➡️ Confucius Day

The birthday of Confucius is not really clear and some say 28 and others say 29 September but on the list it said today is Confucius Day. And Confucius was very important. He was a philosopher and i think everybody knows him. The most important my parents say is the values and a lot of it is still today very important in China but also in other countries for example about being kind and super loyal and that you must have good virtue. ➡️ National Coffee Day

I wanted to mention this day for @Etienne and anybody who likes coffee!! I think biscotti is only Italian bc i saw it in Rome. ➡️ St. Maarten

So like i said in another forum today is St. Maarten and in my country small children walk with a lantern and sing a song. So it is abt a Saint and he was a noble person. And he cut part of his robe for a begger. And children buy or make a lantern and sing a song and they get candies. That is really nice and @MariaRosary said it is also celebrated in Germany.

There are different Singles Day but the Chinese day is abt that you can also be proud to be single. BUTTTT if you are older than parents give a LOTTTT of pressure that you find a partner. But that is maybe big culture difference from other countries but in Chinese culture it is also important depending some things. Sorry it has been super long ago since i made posts in this forum but it has been REALLY busy. In the USA there will be a snow storm.

We also had a lot of snow a few weeks ago, but it was not really a snow storm but still a lot more than in the last 5 years!!! So maybe everywhere it is not only getting hotter but also that the winter becomes more heavy bc of climate change.

➡️ Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day

I think on the one hand it is really good bc it can protect stuff but also if you order smt online than they use a box that is maybe 15 times BIGGER than necessary and also with a LOTTTTTTT of bubble wraps. It is still nice to click it with your hands but also really bad for the environment.
