What do you think of China ? Politics and governments

Well, what is there to say? It is very apparent it is a successful country with a long, detailed history, and one of the richest cultures in the world. The only problem with the state, not the people, is that the CCP and the rely heavily on propaganda to support their reign, don’t get me wrong, when I want to know about something, I read sources from both sides, and critique them if required, and I am not saying the western governments are perfect or propaganda-free. I feel like the West is putting China down and not realising the potential of an alliance, economic or military. However, any form of alliance is not possible currently due to
1. The USA’s increased presence in the South-China Sea and surrounding areas.
2. China’s approach to maintaining friendly relations with the West and its neighbours.
3. China’s claim over Taiwan.
If the People’s republic of China is allowed to protect its sovereignty, then surely Taiwan is to be allowed the same? If China continues to provoke Taiwan will lead to war, most likely with the USA as well, possibly causing civilian casualties on both sides, which is a loss for both. It the USA wants to be st peace with China, they need to respect China’s worry that other will not respect their sovereignty.

Overall I’m sure everyone can agree China is a great country, and there is a difference between the Government and the people.

Very comprehensive insight. I have a question for you. In your opinion, would China be as great as it is now if it were no longer governed by the CCP, but operated on a three-power model like the United States? Because I see from your point of view that you think the CCP is too dependent on promoting themselves to keep a tight grip on Chinese citizens and foreign visitors to China.

说得好 但是房价和内卷严重损害了中国人的幸福水平

几千年的文明从未中断，即使曾经被打败，但从未被摧毁。
朝代的更替和循环是历史发展的必然趋势。
也许会有不足，但文化会发展，社会制度会进步(改进)，历史总会被创造。

Sorry for the late response, it really depends for long in the situation described China has been running like this, however if it were to be a change made in present day I believe it would help China prosper, however socialisms main goal was to rebuild China, especially after Japan in WW2, however it’s impossible to tell without it being done.
