What do you mean ?

They don't do anything for the welfare of anybody

They don't do anything for the welfare of anybody
Well, as I have seen, some of these countries are kind of enemies... I mean, I have seen last time that China and India were supporting each other's separatists... I'm totally not sure about this information...
However, other territory disputes in the Himalayas are actually, and currently heppening between China and India, near Tibet, Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh...
So I understand that relations between some countries in the BRICS might be difficult at this time...

Emerging countries . So wold change time to time . Long time a go India was dominating the wold. Rome and Egypt also played a major role . Chain has long history . As I read America was discovered by Chines sailor but documented as Columbus. Then UK, Germany and France were key players after WWII USA became the leader . Now it's changing.

My point of view is that what you said is not consistent with what I asked. I just wonder why you said something irrelevant but seemingly philosophical. This is why I resent you. It has nothing to do with whether you are smart or not. I didn't mean to offend you. I'm sorry

BRICS is the opposition to the West. Is it good or bad? Bad for whom? You don't like it, I like. What are we talking about?

When has India been dominating the world? Aren't you mistaken with China? Because China has always been the center of the world/production with the exception of the century of humiliation.
As for Rome, it has been a superpower in its time, although Greeks definitely won the war of culture in Europe and hence in the world. Thus, I'd put Greece before Rome... Egypt was more of a local power*. On its part, India didn't even exist and is a very recent construction... Indus valley played a role mostly because it was a big node/center of trade just like Bagdad for instance. It dedvelopped not playing a major role, but taking advantage of a trade established from East to West.

Never heard of Chineses discovering the Americas. I've heard that Vikings settled there, or that native american came from Polynesia/Taiwan (pre-Han), but never that China came there first; and despite the fleet led by Zheng He was truly amazing, I see no reason for Chineses to take a trip to the East like Europeans did.

Germany didn't exist until recently... Its role became important during the Napoleonic wars mostly, and I'd say that Austria, Spain and Italian city states were much more important in European history than Germany/Prussia before 1800's.

Funnily, you mention USA being the leader, forgetting that its total domination started only in the 90's wioth Soviet Union collapsing. Soviet Union that had better results in the Space Race many times.

Thank you for the update
I have read Admiral Zheng visited America before Columbus ( book by Rowan Gavin Paton Menzies )
I don't know the truth . History can be interprets by many ways.

BRICS is not about China, it's not about India, it's about new world. The new world that is going to appear. Not the Western world, but new one, with new rules. Rules for everybody.

You are being a little bit optimisitic (this is an euphemism) if you think that there will be such a world.

Lianshen, hundred years ago people did not beleave that in the world there will be a socialist states. But you know, there a new state appeared - the USSR. Then China and others states. So, why do you think it's impossible? Everybody is talking about a global world. but everyone understands it differently. I don't think that global world has to be necessarily under the US rule. Someday world really will be as one. You know, like in the song of John Lennon - Imagin

Irrelevant and false. The USSR was built over the promise of socialism, but quickly switched to a tyranny, just like most of so called socialist states that weren't crushed ina bloodbath like Paris Commune.

As for why it is impossible: A French is already not just a French, an Alsacian is not a Basque, nor a Parisian, and you want that such a person relies to an Ainu, an Amhara, a Mixtec or an Inuit with radically different cultures, lifestyle... without counting the different classes that have very different interests? Nowadays, it is obvious that we are taking a different paths with a patchworks of countries that will absolutely not unify.

That being said, is a united world even desirable? For my part: Absolutely not unless you want to see New York and the same dull crap everywhere you go.

Lianshen, not so. Let me explain. When it happened, revolution in 1917 in Russia, was it bad or not? It was bad for many people in Russia, but for some it was good. Same thing in China. Do I happy about it? Not at all. I don't know on which side I would be. But it's irrelevant. We don't know where all this things will lead us. Communism or capitalism? In Sweden there more communism than in China. Is it good or bad? Again, it's not about capitalism or communism. Most people have no idea what we are talking about. But Marx was right in many ways. West is so corrupted, there is no need to have any proof. It's so obvious, West is destroying itself. There has to be another fare society. What about the rest of the world? What can I say? Some day will join us. I hope so.
