the educating system Politics and governments

My dear fellow penpals,
I believe that our educating system is heading the wrong way, it consumes me, and i would like your opinion!! I think that we are not learning the right things and children are getting bad examples and can be educated so much better. If you would like to elaborate, do it here!!!! x

What do you mean specifically? Do you have examples of how things done in the Netherlands? Education systems can be very different across countries

I think the first problem is that parents must STOP to be fans and supporter of their son and must START to be educators.

our education system also not good, too much burden, unnecessary things to learn at school, children should go to that stream which is necessary for them.

Education system in Poland is now transforming. They're eliminating 3 years gymnasiums, where children aged 13-15 used to go. Now they wil attend to middle school 2 years longer than it was before the revolution, let's say, and high school will be longer, 4 years not 3, that it used to be. It's a complete mess right now, children are overworked because of the reform, they must gain the knowledge in 2 years, not 3, that it used to be, to pass final tests and then get to good high schools. Of course, high school would be less stressful for them, they will have one year more for studying the same as me, in 3 year mode high school. But wow, this thing is really a huge mess, it's hard to even explain that

That s intéressant. France highschool s reform want that the high School become more adapted for smart pupils , pupils who understand sweefter, ans the others in some technological cursus and Finnland seems to do the same ? I mean if you have to learn more in less years it s complicated

As a dutch primary school teacher (sixth grade) I find this topic very interesting. Can you explain which wrong direction we're heading according to your vision?

Education system is not perfect in every countries, because it based on the past and not on the future, and because we expect eveything from it, like we expect everything of governments etc People must stop expecting, waiting, following...
We must do things by ourselves. The future is the "open learning" (I don't know if it's correct): we have everything available now for any purpose. You must learn to search by yourself, learn by yourself.
Education systems give a common global basis. It won't give you a life. You must make it by yourself. And you will be happy 😃
And most of all: it's not because you will succeed at school that you will be a better person, and it's not because you won't go to school that you won't become an awsome blowsome kind of super human. You can make it; you just have to want it to happen and make it happens.

In France the technological fields are not good I mean there are serious problems of éducation , it s the mess in the classes, children Can t work properly in firms because laws are too strict... So it s better viewed to go in a general school

The wrong way would be to neglect the éducation for a large wide of the population

I really don't like the traditional Chinese education system, that's why I choose an international one. In China, there are some differences between provinces and provinces. In my hometown, senior high school students are divides into liberal arts students and science students. For liberal arts students, they learn Chinese, math, English, politics, history, geography. Sciences students learn Chinese, math, English, physics, chemistry and biology. All these courses are compulsory. And there is no optional courses for them. And in China, grades means everything. Because in Chinese universities, admissions officers will only make a decision on whether to admit a student based on the results of the National College entrance examination.
What I don't like about this system is that it stifles the students' characteristics and makes them think that learning is boring

My opinion is, that the education system in Germany not good ist, because all of the 16 federal states of Germany have another school system. This is a roundabout way, when you want to study in the other federal state.

All that seems pretty the same to me. I think since industrial revolution and capitalism arised, most education system started being the same… mainly turned toward the “formation” of the consumer-(passive)“citizen”, and to finding jobs, etc. instead of personal creativity and achievment. Anyway before industrial revolution there was no large-scale education system. Here in France free education was made to impede and predate socialists school, who were starting giving a true philosophical, political (democratic) and scientific culture to children.

I think the educating system in China is not reasonable. Some students study for the tests but in fact they don't understand the knowledge.

The quality of education vary greatly with locations. The educating system could be better, but I don't think it is that bad. And it can't make everyone satisfy of course. Here in China, someone blame the NMET because it only care about scores. But if u are the one who born to live in a poor environment, having no chances to develop any hobby or whose parents have being setting bad examples to u, scores are the most fair relatively, as u can get good scores as long as u focus on classes. Our sysytem give the lowest a chance to enter into middle class, and it wasn't design to develop the most intelligent ones. We should pay attention to welfare of whom can't even let out their voices.

In my opinion, China's education, uh, is constantly improving.Take Zhejiang, the province where I study, as an example. In the past, Zhejiang, like other provinces in the country, was divided into arts and sciences. Now he has introduced a policy of seven elections and three elections.High school students can choose three subjects from physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, geography and technology as their college entrance examination subjects, plus three subjects from Chinese, mathematics and English.
Just as Rome was not built in a day, the improvement of the education system is not built in a day, and it requires the continuous contribution and dedication of generations of educators.

As far as i know,China‘s education is changing now.Every province is making the new plan by different situations. For example,Zhengjiang province is the leader of it.Since from 2014(the time of graduation is 2017),Zhejiang province has doing the things by the plan.UP to now, most parts of China are implementing the new college entrance examination.Of course, there are still some differences between provinces. It cannot be avoided because of China's special national conditions.

To be honest, I kind of dislike Chinese education. In my opinion, schools only care about student’s grades. But, beside, other abilities such as leadership, creativity, etc are also important. But Chinese students are kinda be lack of these ability. They have tons of homework to do, so they don’t have time to develop them. That's why I chose to take international classes in high school instead of receiving traditional Chinese high school education. I am going to America to receive my undergraduate education. But I have to admit that Chinese education is relatively fair comparing to American education. When you apply to American universities, admission officer will not only check your grades(such as AP,SAT/ACT score),but also other thing such as your family background, extracurricular activities, etc. This means that students from better families are more likely to be admitted to good universities. But in China, things are different.Universities enroll students by checking their GaoKao score only.It means that if you want to get to a good university in china, all you need to do is working hard on your academic courses.Everyone has the opportunity for that no matter you are from poor family or rich family.
