Sorry, but the figures coming out of Iran seem irrefutable, regardless of the source. They range from 3,000 to 10,000 deaths; it's quite alarming. I really find it hard to believe this is all propaganda. There's nothing wrong with admitting you were wrong. It would be to your credit to acknowledge that.

However, I must respectfully disagree with your viewpoint, because it closely resembles the characteristics of conspiracy theories as I know them: making sweeping claims without evidence, attributing everything to Western media, or labeling it as a Western plot.
I am very familiar with this way of thinking. Similar ideas continue to be widespread in China’s online environment, and I also believed in them wholeheartedly when I was in middle school. However, as I grew older and gained more understanding of the world, I realized how misguided such thinking is.
As a Chinese person, let me give an example based on my experience living in China. From modern to contemporary times, some of my fellow citizens have long trusted the saying “Learn from the West to counter the West.” This saying, which means “learn foreign technologies to compete with them,” reflects a historical strategy of strengthening one’s own country by adopting advanced technologies from abroad.
But the problem is obvious: leaders of Western countries are not going to be that foolish—to teach technology while others use it against them. This way of thinking, based on “learning from the West to counter the West,” clearly contradicts common sense and basic ethical principles. In fact, this idea has proven to be misguided, as Western countries have begun to refuse to teach, sell, or even sanction certain technologies to China.
Unfortunately, some of my fellow citizens still do not recognize this, and in China’s online discourse, claims like “The West is restricting our development” or “The West fears China’s rise and refuses to sell technology” are rampant, along with many other similar ideas.
I have always considered this reasoning foolish. In my view, the government is exhausting its credibility, and once that credit is used up, China risks becoming isolated as a global adversary. Of course, I would never post such opinions on Chinese social media, because others have already done so—and the result was that their accounts were banned, and they were labeled by some as “traitors” or “collaborators.” From my own perspective, witnessing this has made me cautious about expressing controversial opinions online. This makes it extremely difficult for ordinary people to express dissenting opinions safely. Simply put, to live a healthy and happy life in China, one cannot express opinions or speech that are perceived as unfavorable to the government.
In summary, modern people all live in their own worlds, and online “information silos” still exist. Therefore, I would not recommend spreading such conspiracy theories without evidence. From my own life experience, I have come to understand that foolish ideas are contagious, especially to those who, like my younger self in middle school, lacked real-life experience. Therefore, I hope everyone approaches such claims with caution and critical thinking, and takes the time to verify information and reflect on historical lessons.🤔🤔

For me i think the most important is what the people want in Iran. And if they protest and they are killed that is wrong even if other countries helped that they protest. But in any case they cant be killed for demonstrating or what they want. But Iran is not a democracy and i believe that ppl should be free that they decide things themselves.
So safety is the most important. I dont know others from Iran than Parsa but i hope that there is peace really soon.
