Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️ Is it perhaps a nice idea if somebody suggests a really touching or beautiful song and we all listen to it on youtube and everybody who wants can give a reaction what they think of it?

Does anybody have a song that has REALLY touched or helped them in maybe problems or to think of something nice? 🥰🥰

We played this game at school and that was for most really fun. We stopped when some songs were too heavy and shocking (the movie clips 🙁😣). But if you have nice suggestions it is really nice to talk about I hope. ✨🪈🎷🪗🎸🥁🎤

Thank you very much for the suggestion Michael and I listened yesterday. I very much like the live performance because she sings in very calming way even when it is first soft and she sings louder afterwards. Also the way she looks is confident and calm and that makes me calm if I look at the clip.

I also watched the movie clip and she looks very hurt in that clip. It is very different from the live clip. And I prefer the live clip. And I disagree with the songtext because she is not stupid and dumb that she loved him, but he was just not true and that is why she is hurt.

In the live clip she has a very elegant and styleful outfit that makes really graceful and I thought immediately about the picture @H_E_A_R_T sent a link of in this forum . And if Christine talks she is also calming to me like Lianne La Havas so I had to think of Christine when I saw the live clip and her singing.

Perhaps can you say Michael why this song is touching for you and what it means for you? And maybe we also get reactions from others about the song!! 🌞🌞🌞

I bet on losing dogs - Mitski

I listened to the song Kale mentioned and I was very surprised by it. The title was not so clear because what does she mean that she bets on a losing dog? I didnt understand the title, but maybe it meant something different. So I selected on You Tube the song but with the lyrics on the screen.

When she started singing I first listened to her voice and it is not very emotional the way she sounds so it is difficult to understand what the song is about from that. She has a calm and very nice voice but it is like she does not care emotionally what she is singing. So maybe she does not care that she bets on losing dogs?

And she sings that she WANTS to bet on a losing dog and that she wants to look him in the eye and that she wants to feel it that he is down. That was confusing because does she wants to help him? But why is feeling it important to help the dog that is losing? And she sings 'Someone to watch me die' and that the person looks her in the eye when that happens. That is difficult what she means with that because if she wants somebody to help her too when she is losing, it is too late if she says that she is already dying.

I think the song probably has different meanings and maybe that depends on who listens to it and how you think about it when someone is losing (do you help or do you not care or are you hurt too if you see it)?

Maybe Kale can you tell what you think it is about and why you like the song? It was very nice to listen to it and think about it, but maybe others can help a bit about the meaning. And the singer Mitski has a VERY good voice. 🙂

And I would also like to add one song for people to react: Emeli Sandé - Read all about it. For me personally there is no song that can better describe what is in my head like the lyrics of that song. a song that really helped me is ''back to black'' by amy winehouse,she is my favorite singer i love her so much. i know it's a ''basic'' song but it truly helps me!

another song that makes me happy is ''empire state of mind'' bc it makes me think abt new york

@RESOLVE: Thank you very much for explaining that Michael, but it is a bit difficult to know that feeling. I dont have a love life. I mean like with a relationship because I do love my parents and friends. In my school boys always are very loud and act like very cool and are always doing what they think others think is cool and strong. And my friends they think it is funny or stupid or something else, but I feel it is intimidating a bit. I dont know how to describe it. And if you are on a date maybe they are also so loud and behaving like that and I dont feel comfortable at all.

And I understand what you mean that Lianne can recognise when she was maybe stupid or made a mistake. But if you love somebody you maybe try to make it work even if you see some bad things. And if those things are later big problems you were not stupid I think but you just try your best to have the relationship. I think she is very brave and strong instead of weak and only hurt. She is strong like you I think because you both know what everything means in a relationship. I hope that you understand what I mean because it is very difficult to write it in English. Feelings are difficult in English! 😛

Thank you very much Michael! For me it is a difficult topic because you maybe must have love and that you know more about it to understand everything in the song and what you write.

Do you believe that there is for everybody one person and that if you find that person you have true love? Or do you believe that you can fall in love with different persons in your life (I dont mean at the same time but that you can have true love with different persons and not only one person)? And do you believe in love at first sight?

Skipping stones by txt (물수제비), i think it‘s such a beautiful song, even though the lyrics are a bit sad at some parts (or i‘m just sensitive)

Wowwww thank you very much @RESOLVE!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I did not expect so many wise words about it and I really need time to understand everything what you wrote, but i try to understand it slowly because you gave that advice to me earlier. 🙂 It is funny that you said that love is like a labour-contract because my mom and aunt often gossip and complain that they do all the hard work! 😛 And that men can just relax! But it is only a joke because my dad and my uncle work very hard and they know that too. 🤭🤭

But it is nice that you said it is a labour-contract because you work hard for what the other wants. And that guys do that too is very good.

I need more time to read everything again several time and understand it, but also maybe to read it when you have a relationship.
