Seeing bad endings in movie is very hard for me too,in fact i don’t like sad movies…
Being a psychologist would be cool! Both my parents are
That is really nice that your parents are both psychologists! I did not know that yet! 🙂 Really cool 😛
And Chris I did not yet watch Schindler List because I am afraid that it is too shocking and you can see it on the tv very visual everything. But everybody says it is a VERY good movie.

Anne Frank movies are emotional as well.
Saving private Ryan is one of the most realistic war movies of all times.
The opening scene at the Normandy beach was so realistic, that even veterans were afraid to get a trauma by watching it.
How do you know that the depiction of the war is realistic?
You can't judge that, you weren't there.
I'd recommend "Dogville" of Lars von Trier. One of the bravest observations on the true psyche and nature of humanity. It's not limited with offering a deep moral impact only. You simply watch "A quiet little town not far from where ever you are".
Now that deep meaning is kinda questionable cause most disturbing movies i have seen got no meaning or its falling behind me. Anyway, few disturbing movies i have seen: May https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303361/?ref_=ls_t_9 Angel Heart https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092563/?ref_=ls_t_42 Gummo https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119237/?ref_=ls_t_31 The Poughkeepsie Tapes https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1010271/?ref_=ls_t_16
Cement Garden https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106535/?ref_=ls_t_10
I'm into extravagant and surrealistic cinema, so let me be clear upfront—I wouldn't recommend watching any of these movies unless you're just as crazy as I am (heh-heh): "The Philosophy of Knife": A Russian arthouse film that tells about the atrocities committed by Unit 731 (torture, murder, bloody experiments). The main idea is the suffering of innocent people whose fate was predetermined and hopeless from the start. In the end, most perpetrators managed to escape punishment. "Chekist": As far as I remember, it's a Russo-French production. It deals with Stalin's repressions during the early 1930s when Cheka agents carried out mass executions on city streets. The core message lies in the character of the protagonist Srubov who fanatically believed in serving his country but ultimately went insane and became useless to the very system he devoted himself to wholeheartedly.
a lot of people will disagree with me but A Serbian Film ( 2010 ) has a deeper meaning if you start learing the Balkan and Slavic history
the substance, maxxxine, the witch, the lodge, last night in soho, a cure for wellness, the menu, split, etc
well i can see you have interest in genre psychology, thriller. if the movie starred by Mia Goth, Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy it must be good.
i loved The Substance not all body horror is good but this is 🤯

yep, it also has deep messages about female self-worth in hollywood industry. especially for issues of ageism, misogyny, and the pursuit of youth through blunt force. It delves into the profound consequences of societal expectations and the objectification of women.
Any list not including Pasolini's "Salò, or The 120 Days of Sodom" isn't disturbing enough.
I think i'll go for "men most wanted" its a disturbing movie (movie n⁰ 1 and n⁰ 2) im not sure if it has a deep meaning. I think same goes for "to steal from a thief"
