I've enjoyed a few rap songs here and there but generally I prefer more melody and instrument interplay in my music. I do recognize the artistry of rappers, the poetry of their lyrics and their interesting use of rhythms, but it generally isn't something that I choose to listen to for enjoyment. So I don't really have a favorite rapper because I don't really have enough exposure to make such a choice.
Keny Arkana makes very good texts. Unfortunately, you can't understand them if you don't speak French, but maybe someone translated them in English. I think she's not only my favorite rapper, but also one of my favorite artists in general.
