Is it ok to leave work on time in your country? Anything and everything

Is it ok to leave work early/on time in your country? Would you feel bad or even "guilty" when seeing your colleagues are still working but it's about time for you to go home at the end of the day? What would you do?

Trust me, it is better if you don't know how certain things go here, about that; but, to answer your question, nobody feels bad or guilty for that, except maybe for their relatives or close friends.

No, i dont think so (altough i dont work), but perhaps you'll get fired 😉

I leave work, when my work is done…when my colleagues are still working, while I am going home, this is not my problem🤣 I am not living for my work, but I am working to enjoy my freetime without work😃

When it's done, it's done. Though I know some people expect you to finish some things before you go...

I'd rather leave earleir than later to be honest :v

That being said, the important point for me is that the job is done, if it is, why would you stay? And especially why would you do extra unpaid hours? I value my time way too much to offer it.

I believe we get paid extra if you work extra. You'll have to make sure your workgiver knows tho

It depends, and I am not sure that it's a common thing in some countries of Asia. What @Yu-Chiang says here reminds me very much of what I have seen in Japan, where it is more like a traditionnal thing to stay overtime in the evening in some fields.
