Paris Olympics Anything and everything

It was the Artistic director who was in charge of the performances at the Olympics opening ceremony not the planners or the Olympic judges. A lot of people online have already said their thoughts online about this on various Social media platforms and the official Olympic organizers aren't going to do anything about fixing this dreadful faux pas besides deleting a video about it online on YouTube. A lot of people are pissed off in the Christian community and are going to be boycotting the Olympics cuz of the distasteful French acts which included a naked man in blue paint exposing himself with a young child present. That's pedophilia and it's disgusting. If I want to see vulgar nudity, I would watch Game of Thrones or a triple X rated movie. I don't because I do not watch that stuff.

I admire how they show the importance and strength of the group of LGBTQ+ and all the musical theatre, rock and roll, pop music stuff. In my opinion, threesome is also an expression of love, freedom and things like no need to feel ashamed of sex. Apparently this opening is not a traditional one, it’s revolutionary, just like France the country, and that’s why some people find it disgusting and hard to understand while others find it exciting. I respect all opinions and there’s no need for arguments. About the anti Christian thing I am not familiar with that so I can’t comment. After all I think it’s not just an opening, it’s a show and a great one, I love it

If there had been something slightly offensive towards LGBTQ people in that ceremony, what would have happened? A catastrophe! If there had been something offensive towards Islam in that ceremony, what would have happened? An international tragedy with attention and deaths. Instead, Christians can be offended freely. Sex is always beautiful even if it's done with three, five or twenty people. But sex is a personal thing. It should not be used to offend other people. France is revolutionary but must also be inclusive and respect everyone's ideas. Good taste and good manners always remain important.

I respect Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, gays, heterosexuals, people who believe in the LGBT ideology, people who do not believe in this ideology. I also respect those who have sex with three or ten people. I wish other people would learn this kind of respect

I was impressed by the technicians behind the event. They are so talented, it was truly breath taking. Not so much about the art director, though. As a Frenchman and Christian, this was a well calculated humiliation to say the least.

Hi everyone ! In my opinion , but it is just my opinion, I think this opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Paris was a wonderful advertisement for the City of Paris and for my country more generally and for all of those who used to feel mentally and sexually agressed with this event , well I would tell them that I m really sorry for them if they felt such a feeling and I would also say them that it was just a show organised by professionnal dancers who might dance for the Swan s lake in their country in the next future and their leader and manager is really gay according to me and after having heard his speech on french TV!

I have never been to Tokyo but no I don't think the towers are remotely comparable (both structurally speaking and in terms of history).

The Notre-Dame work is supposed to be completed by the very end of this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it.
