Well, nowadays the word “friendship” is often abused in my opinion.
Let’s rather say the vast majority of the people we know are acquaintances and not “friends”.
Friendships are real, theybased on trust, honesty as well as reciprocal help depending on each person’s needs.
That is why real friendships are rarer than hitting the jackpot at the lottery.
People sadly go and come. Somebody does it because they are too busy for everything, whereas someone else might simply be superficial and not keen on keeping it up, or perhaps they have no topics to discuss about. It depends on each person, overall.
We meet thousands of people during our lifetime, however those who remain by your side, well, you can count them on your fingers.
