What’s your favourite type of cake?

Mines is buttercream cake.

Does lemon pie count as cake? If not, mine is chocolate cake.

I love all cakes with apple! Warm apple strudel with cream an vanilla icecream is like a cake from paradise 🙂

I don't really have one favorite but German Chocolate cake comes to mind first. I also like simple white cake with white frosting. I also really love white cake with strawberries between the layers. Another favorite type of cake is chocolate lava cake.

Since I don't really have a favourite one, I'll say that the ones I prefer are the cakes which have funny names because I can say things like :
"Today, I'll eat a financier"; "give me the nun" (the actual cake is called religieuse, but this is more of a pastry than an actual cake) et caetera.
There are plenty of others like this, among which some are politically incorrect so I'll spare you them.
