No surprise at all. Naming the country has been a "salad of terms" because of some political disputes. Constitutional Republic of Macedonia, Democratic Republic of Macedonia, Independent Republic of Macedonia, New Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Upper Macedonia, Republic of Macedonia-Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and many more. Therefore I'd use the word "dispute" for the country. 🙂

2 - chauvinistic ;

I will answer to these stereotypes :
1 - true 😅 French accent may be horrible, for sure ! But I think teens have better English skills, I couldn't say why...
2 - also true ! French people mostly think that France is the best country... I let you judge it 😛 3 - true, but... we don't eat frogs or snails !!! 🤣 I personally don't like baguette... And we eat a lot of cheese !
4 - true, adults are pretending to know which bottle choosing in the restaurant, but that's the same thing for (almost) everyone : it's a random choice !
5 - false ! This stereotype come from Louis XVI who took 2 baths in his life and liked perfume :')

The stereotypes about Italians are:
1 Italians only eat pasta and pizza (it's true we eat pasta 6 days a week and on the seventh day we eat pizza)
2 Italians dress well (that's not true, it's a stereotype born only because there are many famous tailors in Italy)
3 Italians gesticulate when they speak (it's true)
4 Italians are mammoni (it is not that we are mammoni but we do not have adequate economic conditions to be independent at 30)
5 Italians are Latin lover (yes we men court every vagina we meet)
6 Italians do not speak foreign languages (Yes, most Italians speak only Italian and local dialects, French is spoken only in the Aosta Valley, German in Trentino Alto Adige, Slovenian and Slovenian in Friuli Venezia Giulia Albanian in some cities of Puglia and Calabria)
