  I have visited and/or lived for periods up to a year in numerous southeastern Asian countries. My favorite was Bangkok...it’s absolutely beautiful there and amazingly inexpensive. I don’t believe there are more beautiful beaches anywhere ...but I’ve never been to Australia which I am told equals Thailand as far as beaches go.

  The most unusual place I’ve ever visited is the tiny island of Kiribati (they pronounce it as “Kirabass” there, in spite of the spelling). Ask me about it...if you would like to hear an interesting story about a little known place.

  I would have to say that my proudest accomplishments are shared with and largely achieved by my wife and I. (She passed away in 2006). We raised two fantastic kids and they have in turn done the same with their families. We were and are extremely proud of them....and now 3 wonderful grandchildren.

  Professionally I worked for 3 different companies and was able to reach senior management in all three. I’ve had. A great career....wonderful family life..and am enjoying retirement tremendously!
