No summer holiday this year; eventually, it will be a mixture of work and travel in November instead. In fact, staying in your own country for holiday is amazing. Many people who travel extensively end up not knowing very well their own place!
Don't forget the estudiantinas in the evening in Guanajuato! I remember I went to see the same granny several times there, because her enchiladas mineras were delicious! Hopefully, you will also experience rain there.

And why do u think that it would be nice if @Piwipete also has rain in Guanajuato? Is it so warm all the time in that part in Mexico?? ππ

The weather is nice there from what I remember; but the rain transforms the city: it contrasts with the colours of the building, and the storms in summer are short and transforms the cities/stairways into small waterfalls
