Let's try this game. 🎲🎮

Everyone can choose a topic he's strong about and trying to tell and explain why he/she thinks it is important/beautiful/interesting. ✨

Let's just be curious about the world around and planetary population - Mars is yet too far away, let's get to know each other! ☺️

Any topic can be valid:

  • your favorite sport and why anyone should give it a try 🏊🏻‍♂️
  • advise a book you read and found essential to every reader 📚
  • your political ideas about some laws or behaviours country should regulate as government's duties 🛃
  • recipe from your country anyone should try at least once 🍕
  • most beautiful place on Earth you visited and why should anyone go there 🌍

Just spread your love, inspire the world next to you. We're on a social yet so distant in space, but so close in time thanks to internet. Let's make this spot a precious jewellery piece of social media. 🥰

🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸

I will start!

I think everyone should try once at least to practice swimming and I mean take a swimming course. Anybody from 0 to 99 y.o. can practice and it gives both self awareness of your own body but also of a mean - the water itself - we were used to as babies before getting out of our mothers. Yet this element is so present in our lives and so crucial to our planet to thrive. On the other hand a kid or an adult who knows how to swim can get fun from a variety of attractions and places: seaside, lakes, rivers, also little waterfalls, but also kayak, canoeing, diving, surfing, snorkelling, apnea. 🚣🏻‍♂️🏄🏻‍♂️🤽🏻‍♂️

On the other hand classical aquatics sports also known at official championship and Olympic games like pure swimming competitions, waterpolo matches and artistic swimming (ex-synchro) exhibition have three different approaches and yet three different skills development to get into deeply.

Water is my favourite element, I used to be a waterpolo player for 10 years, then since 2020 I kept only swimming but still participating in competitions. I follow people as a swimming instructor weekly through the learning process: everytime teaching gives me something new back. Our Earth is basically water with some rocks emerging from it, everyone should be able to appreciate it's beauty.

Let's give aquatic world a chance!🌊🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹

Hey, I love this forum. Such a nice idea, so I decided to join in!

Why Hypertrophy-Oriented Strength Training (Especially as You Age) Is So Important

I honestly believe that strength training is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. Most people underestimate how important muscle growth — hypertrophy-oriented training — really is, especially as we get older. Starting around the age of 30, the body begins to lose muscle mass if you don’t actively train against it. This process, called sarcopenia, leads to less stability, a slower metabolism, higher injury risk, and lower overall energy levels.

Regular, structured strength training can not only stop that decline — it can actually reverse it. Muscles aren’t just for looks; they’re a highly active metabolic organ. More muscle mass means a better glucose metabolism, healthier hormone balance, improved bone density, and simply more strength for everyday life. It’s not about becoming a bodybuilder — it’s about building a body that works for you, not against you.

And it’s not just training that matters — nutrition and recovery play huge roles, too. Many people still think “healthy living” just means avoiding sweets or eating salads. But true health is much more. It's about understanding how your body works, fueling it with the right nutrients, and using training principles that are scientifically proven to work and which are optimized for progress.

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s consistency and awareness. Once you understand the “why” behind what you’re doing, training becomes so much more meaningful and especially easier.

Why I Know What I’m Talking About

I’m 16, and I’ve been training seriously for about a year and a half — mainly focused on hypertrophy. You might think now that I might be young, which would totally fair, but I’ve spent countless hours studying training science, experimenting with different approaches, and helping people around me reach their goals. I design workout plans, give advice, and it’s been amazing to see real results come from applying proper methods and consistency.

I’m not “officially” certified — yet — but I take this stuff seriously. I’ve read research, learned from credible sources, and most importantly, tested everything on myself and others. It’s become my passion to show people that fitness isn’t about restriction — it’s about understanding, growth, and self-respect.

well everyone to there own mind and body to try new things no mater what age you are Young or Old or Middle age

@Rickard this is a really nice forum!!!! And i will think abt what i want to write bc i DONT want to write abt my sport which is classical ballet bc i think others will think it is super boring for them and they will not do that anyway except some who also like it like Aoooooooo @AgDel!!! 😛 😛 But maybe smt that other people also like!!! 🙂

And what you wrote and also @marksam abt swimming: in my country almost everybody gets the swimming diploma A and also B and most also C. So that means you have swimming lessons for 1.5-2 years and it is with groups. And it is important bc there is a LOTTTT of water in my country like the seas and also rivers and canals and lakes and other waters so everybody must learn to swim. And i think maybe 99% gets the swimming diplomas. Or maybe little bit more or less i am not so sure. But at least EVERYBODY from my class and friends and i think also others i know.

1) Favorite is ballet and everyone should give it a try because it helps you improve your flexibility, endurance and strength, it's good for everything, it can be relaxing, teach you discipline and how to express yourself. When you like ballet, you can share it with other who don't like to do ballet but to watch by dancing for them and I think it's nice. When you do ballet, you can be whatever you want, you can be Odile and swin like a swan, you can do 12 pirouettes in a row and fly in your room. When you dance, you honor music and the work of the person who made the scene, the costumes... It's a way to connect all arts. Ballet is between art and sport, it's beautiful and so hard but so satisfaying.

2) I think everyone should read The False in our Stars by John Green because it's beautiful how people love each other so deeply even as they don't have any time and they live with so much intensity even when they could die tomorrow. I think that's beautiful.

3) In France, the police doesn't respect the law. For example, when there's a manifestation in big cities, highschoolers can go in front of the highschool's entrance and say to people who wan to come in "you shall not pass" so no one goes to school that day. They organize this with a small group of people and it's a pacific way to manifest, without harming anyone but just by saying "we won't go to school in a fucked up country", they also sing slogans like "siamo tutti antifascisi" and sing songs like the French song "Charger" to show they rebellion but it's really pacifist, and it's not to skip school but to communicate their ideas. Reminder : those highschoolers are minors. And some day, my brother was doing it (it's called a "blocus") and some CRS (it's a kind of policemen who are known not to respect the law) like 65 FUCKING CRS go down trucks and start hitting the people from the blocus... THEY STARTED HITTING MINORS MANIFESTING IN A PACIFIC WAY WITH A BATON, sometimes they also use tear-inducing or beat them up, and I think that's not okay, France is a democracy, people should be able to express themselves as long as they don't harm anyone, and it wasn't the case (people filmed and the CRS definetely abused of their power). Police doesn't respect the law and I think government should work on that because they're supposed to make us respect the law, but they don't do it themselves...

I'm sorry to write that long about it but I'm really mad at those CRS who hit my brother and his friends when he was just arguing for his ideas.

4) BAGUETTE ! Baguette truly feeds like bread, but it's lighter, it tastes like a crusty cloud and you can put cheese on it, or butter, or chocolate, or mamelade, or eat it with soup... Baguette recipes are infinite, it's simple and delicious.

5) Somewhere near my village there's a really really small forest, and in that forest there's a field with little flowers. I used to go there to calm down when I had difficult times, it's the best place I know because it's like cut out of the world, you can think calmly there.

I want to add one thing i had last week in modern ballet workshop during autumn vacation. Normally i only do classical ballet but it is important too for both and maybe also for other dancing but i am not sure abt that. And one of the two teacher spoke English and she said the whole time that you must sustain in a position. So i did not know first what she meant at all. BUTTT she said a movement is NEVER done. So it does not stop suddenly and you move robotical. She said that you must sustain in ANY pose like the movement is never finished and it will be more smooth that way.

And it reminded me of my grandmom she does a lot of TCM and also meditations and Qi Gong exercises and she also said you most make movements like they dont stop. And now i think it is maybe the same what the instructor said in the workshop. I wanted to mention it here bc Aooo @AgDel wrote abt ballet above and i think these kind of things maybe ppl dont think about. ANDDD it can be useful also for other things like yoga for example. I tag @-Kiki- and @H_E_A_R_T who maybe also like it bc it can help them. Sorry Kiki i am not sure if you do yoga but i thought yes. So maybe it is nice for you too i hope!! 🙏🙏
