How do we stay hopeful in the most hopeless/helpless time?

Is there anything we can do to get things right?

Because, without hope, we are nothing but a tumulus of frustrations, disappointments, and concerns.

Play music, make jokes etc. That would be my advice. If you cant play an instrument, well; learn one.

Why is your time hopeless?

Hope is too light to make a difference on the long term. Every time your problems become heavier than your hopes, it feels even worse than if you had just no hope.

I suggest you try to find solutions to make your life better instead. Even if it's just for a small thing, it helps take care of your mental health to focus on one problem and get rid of it over time. It can be something simple like keeping your home clean, and it can also be something more difficult like finding a job that would suit you better. You have to take your hopeless thoughts and throw them out the window, show them you CAN do something about your situation, and then you'll feel fulfilled. At least that's how I work, but I don't think everyone is like that.

Live one day at a time. We have no crystal ball into the future. Live for the moment.

Your question remind me of one of my friends who always look gloomy all time eventhought i see him so talented. He's gloomy all time because of him whose never believe in himself, he couldn't see his strength, skill, anything. I mean, if you or other feel that way, feeling so hopeless, disappointed in yourself, useless or something, first of all, you can ask other about their opinion about you, or try to answer one or two self-reflections question in google, and then you know which things you can be proud or things you need to fix/improve.

Because nobody's perfect, but in every environment/social circle, there will always people who is better than us and it's very normal. Because everything in life is temporary, your skill can be blunt if you don't sharpen it, people can come and go whenever they want, your pet can die because of sick or old. So my opinion is always cherish every moment, but when it pass, be chill. Well, life is too short to worry something that's temporary, and actually, there are lot of things that we haven't explore in this world. Either it's culinary, places or experience.

Well, You deserve to be seen, to be loved, to be appreciated, to be cherished, to feel worthy. But, first of all, you need to love yourself, you need to believe in yourself, because if you don't believe, or are still in your survival mode (being sceptic in almost everything, too hard to yourself, etc), well, positive affirmations will be hard for you to accept. You would only seen the world in negative way, in hopeless way, you only focus on your flaws while actually it's all depends on which perspective we use or depending on how we react. Negative or positive.

In short, never be too hard to yourself. Having flaws is so normal, but give up isn't solution.
