OMG YES! people can be so judgmental and it feels like we as teens are always defined by what name brands we have and the amount of money we have.

Helloooo everybody!! 😊 I saw this forum that was made by Stitchyyy but her real name is Elizabeth!! 😛 And i had to think of it because we had today free at school because it is Ascension Day and not this weekend but the weekend after it and also on Monday it is Pinksteren (sorryyy have to look up the English word). And almost all holidays are Christian holidays. And i spoke today with my cousin and that is why i had to think of this forum because she said that maybe it should be that half the vacations are for everybody and the other half you should be able to choose YOURSELVES. The reason is that for example some can celebrate for their religion or background what is important like Chinese New Year. People who are muslim can in our country celebrate the Sugarfeast and also certain other important days for their religion. But my cousin said it could also be for cultural things that something is really important and that u can celebrate it but now it is not allowed. 🙄🙅♀️ I heard what she said before in my class of other people that they wanted to have more choice of their holidays like WHEN it is and not HOW MANY days.
I think it is impossible because you have tests and also blocks and if everybody can choose when they have vacation it is VERY difficult. But i am curious because maybe everybody thinks that is wrong so i wanted to ask here. I didnt make it a new special forum because maybe people also like to read other opinions in this forum of Lizzyyy!!! And @elizabethtay836 i hope that maybe u come back to PPG because i think has been already half year since u were here!!!! 😬😵💫😵💫

1 - well-meaning and honest, but direct answer to your question) You should respect and follow laws of a country where you are as long as they aren't against moral. As far as I know, Netherlands is secular and nobody restricts you from practicing any religion. The reason why most state holidays are Christian is because majority of Dutch people identify as Christians, or they don't but they traditionally celebrate Christian holidays.

Yes i think that already people have lot of freedom for their religion and what they believe. For school i think it is normal to have the same holidays for everybody because it can be really difficult if every time some people are away on holiday if you can choose it yourself. So i dont know if that is like a huge problem if that would be the case.
I think petrol and alcohol and also coffee and super heavy smelling cleaning products make u feel dizzyyy. Do u really like the smell of petrol? Btw i also dont like if u go in a perfume shop like Douglas and ICI Paris and you already at the door it is like you smell 87892731 different strong perfumes at the same time. I dont know how u can work there without fainting from all the smells!!!
