You write it very beautiful @Lianshen!! And which French pastry do you like the most! 😛 I know it is just an example but i am also curious which pastry can make you the most happy in France!! 🥮🍩

And @martutuni there is a super nice program on tv in The Netherlands and I always watch it at Christmas with my mom and aunt. It is called All you need is love and friends can sign you up when you dont know it. And for example if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend who lives very far away on the world they secretly bring him or her to you for Christmas!! 🙂 And they ring the doorbell and it is a surprise! We ❤️❤️ that program and if you would also live here i would sign you up for your boyfriend to come secretly to you!! 🤗🤗❤️

Awwwww that would be amazing 😭😭

@Raay yes!! absolutely ahhaha

Hmmm a pastry called "Péruvien" (Peruvian). It's not very well known as it's from a pastry chef in Brittany, hence quite a local one, but it's really a nice one and I appreciate how the man is trying to make good French pastry, which is an art here, more accessible (so not very expensive). For a more national one, then probably "Carrément chocolat" (literally "squarely chocolate"; I didn't know that word, so thanks for making me looking for it; here squarely means straightforwardly).

Both cakes are chocolate cake, but the Péruvien has a biscuit with a sobayon made of peruvian chocolate; whereas the Carrément chocolat is made of a biscuit and a layer of cream then a layer of mousse if I remember well.

Is there a pastry you particularly love or makes you happy @Yue_ ? I mean, that makes you simply smile and enjoy the moment when you take a bite? 🙂

That is very nice to read @Lianshen!! I never heard of those pastries so i looked up both BUTTT i am not sure if i found the correct ones:

I actually dont eat a lot of pastries because they are very heavy for your belly. But very sometimes if i'm with my family and we go to amsterdam we eat this:

Pandan cake

And with friends i can eat for example this:

Red velvet cake (but also for example you share a part of carrot cake but not a whole part)!!

The first two are correct. Carrément chocolat was created by Pierre Hermé, one of the top pastry chef in France (especially for Macarron).

it's the first time I see a green cake that is not made out of macha... I didn't know that existed. The ones you like seems to be sponge type of cakes?
As for carrot cakes, no thanks. I never understood why people had to call those things "cakes".

You mean with sponge that it is soft right? 😛 If you mean that yes if you bite it is VERYYY soft but i think i like pandan cake more than eating a sponge for washing dishes!! 😃 🙂

I like the taste of separate cakes like for example red velvet or carrot or fruit or other BUTTT i am not used to eating very heavy things or a lot of sugar it is just too much. I really get stomach ache if i eat too much like whole piece. I dont want to be a cake with legs so i prefer share with a friend that is a lot better. 🥄🍰🥄

Happiness is also having a cat on your legs! My cat is on me right now, and he's purring so loud, it's adorable <3

Man I wanted to say: Happyness is a quite moment with a good book!

nevermind i ll say this: Happiness is a quite moment to relax alone at a good place to do them with a good writeen and interesting book ALONE!

Hey everyone,

Here are a few examples of what happiness might look like to me:

  • Happiness is a quiet moment with a good book.
  • Happiness is hearing laughter from friends and family.
  • Happiness is knowing I made someone’s day a little bit better.

What about you? What does happiness mean to you? Feel free to share your thoughts or any examples that come to mind. Looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks! 😃
