How do different countries view vegetarianism? Everyday life and customs

Vegetarians are OK here in the UK, its vegans you have to watch out for, it's like a cult, they try to convert you and go on a green peace rant about the industry which they have never worked in and only quote videos they saw online which is mostly shot in 3rd world countries. And on top of that there opinion is all that matters. This is based on 5 years serving food 6 days a week. Vegetarians are much better and know not to convert others.

I feel like accepted here, I never had Problems to be a vegetarian xD
