'The ART of PERCEPTION'

Alongside the technical skills that artists develop over the years, it is,
above all, awareness that is the defining characteristic. Artists often
perceive the world differently and, naturally, they strive to make their
perception accessible to others. Often, it is quite ordinary things and
situations that they depict, but they do so in a different way because
of their heightened perception. It is precisely for this reason that an
artist can be such a valuable help through their work – adding new
perspectives to our familiar way of seeing things. We humans tend
simply to see what we want to see -- not, what is really there....

> Let’s be honest – don’t our relationships often suffer because we
don’t perceive our partners as they really are?

All images are a tiny reflection of my daily breathing. Especially
when people are at my place for a seminar I feel often my true
artistic and spiritual core. I hope you see 'just' how simple my
life is ... 🙂

Dear Michael,

it was very special being with you this very afternoon.
Your "simple life" reflects the attention you give
every moment and your visitors.

It was like attending a great silent celebration and
the photo illustrates this perfectly.

If only I could "see" you🦋!

The engineered harmony of round and angular objects, along with the dancing elements in the picture, is playing with my mind. I can't stop watching it and enjoying it.

The grass, flowers, leaves, water, bowl, boxes, stone ball... it's as if they all agreed to stand in the frame, smile, and take a photo together.

And the statements... they astonishingly convey the power of perception to create change.

How easily we can change our lives and our world simply by "refining" our perception.

If only this modification were easy as well...

I hope all the people who participated in the seminar realize how lucky they were to be in this simple life; Simple, like the calm surface of a deep ocean...

Dear Michael,
my experience during the many years is,
that you art is visible in each and everything
you are doing and creating, independend
of what it is - a bowl with food, an
arrangement of flowers or stones, a tea bowl...
Your photographs are showing this very clearly!
Each and everything is in harmony and flow,
nothing to add, no comments necessary,
just unity and integrity! 💫

Reflections in the Evening Light

Reflections...

This reminds me of:

Sometimes, a feeling of jealousy urges to fill our being when we see how the friends of our beloved can spend time with them—something that could be only a wish for us.

But something within us does not let jealousy take control: Those “Friends” Are Beautiful Reflections of the Light of Our Precious Person.

And that is why we FEEL that our ego has no power to envy them.

P.S. The quoted post mostly carried an environmental concept, but this was how I felt today and I couldn't resist writing about it by seeing the word "reflection".
