Thank you Lorenzo but i will reply privately because i dont want to disrupt the interview or it would not be fair to Christopher.
So about the next part i did ask Christopher @Leviathan something i did not do yet in other interviews. And it was i asked which 5 questions HIS FRIENDS would ask him if THEY did the interview. So the next 5 questions are not from me but what his friends would ask Christopher. ๐
PART II
6: If you were given a single school to lead today, what is the very first physical or structural change you would make to move away from the "factory and prison model" of American education?
The very first physical change I would make is dismantling the rigid, assembly-line desk arrangements and replacing them with flexible, collaborative learning spaces that serve as a "Living Laboratory". I would completely remove the hyper-surveillance structures and compliance-driven rules, like excessive phone bans and restrictive dress codes, that treat students like parts on a factory line rather than autonomous human beings. Instead, I would establish physical "Regulation Spaces" across the school to prioritize emotional health and give students a place to cool down before they reach a breaking point.
7: How would you explain to a skeptical parent why "Performance-Based Learning" (the dessert) is a more accurate measure of their child's success than traditional standardized testing?
I would explain that traditional standardized testing is just a "beverage" meant to be consumed quickly after the meal, whereas Performance-Based Learning is the "dessert"โthe ultimate, sweet presentation of final success. Standardized tests reduce a human being to a single, cold data point based on speed and rote memorization, which fundamentally fails to capture true intelligence. Performance-Based Learning allows their child to demonstrate continuous, real-world mastery through authentic expression, showing what they can actually create rather than how well they can bubble in a stolen answer key under pressure.
8: How do you plan to support a student who is struggling financially within your simulated classroom economy without affecting their actual academic confidence?
In my Magister Butler Methodโข economy, if a student cannot afford their "desk rent" or basic living expenses, they simply owe the money later as a line of credit because I would never force a student to stand or sit on the floor. To keep their academic confidence completely intact, financial struggles are strictly decoupled from their actual intelligence scores; instead, I would offer financial safety nets like classroom insurance policies to protect against fines. I would also introduce accessible, behavior-based and career-role opportunities so they can structurally build back their Class Credits (CCs) through proactive growth and contribution.
9: Beyond the "Silent Socratic Seminar," what are some other ways you would ensure that quiet, internal processors are recognized as highly intelligent and engaged?
To support introverts and internal processors, I would design assessments rooted in the combination of the Original and Revised Bloom's Taxonomy that allow for individual "Creating" and deep reflection, such as letting students record a documentary or write historical perspective letters. I would explicitly eliminate "participation-first" grading metrics that falsely treat rapid hand-raising as a proxy for intelligence. Additionally, I would implement project-based and passion-based learning options where a student's highly structured, final artifacts prove their complete mastery without requiring them to put on an exhausting, extroverted performance.
10: In ten years, what specific "impact" would make you feel like you have successfully "set the foundation" for your students?
Success to me means that ten years from now, my former students are navigating independent adulthood as financially literate, emotionally resilient actors who look at the world through critical, autonomous lenses. I will know I made an impact when they balance all eight Dimensions of Wellness in their lives and confidently pursue their unique career pathways. Ultimately, the greatest proof of my foundation will be seeing them actively question and dismantle outdated, rigid systems in their own fields, just as I set out to do with American education.
Thanks very much for the answers Christopher @Leviathan and i feel a bit lazy because normally i make the questions but this time not!!! For the next part i will make the questions again and if anybody has something to ask about the above u can post below or if u want to post a nice comment u can of course do that too!! Thank you very much!! ๐๐๐๐
