The second exhibition is also about a journey. Strictly speaking, I should perhaps
write: It is about another aspect of the same journey. Well, that's probably not so
important to you. I just hope that the images are not understood as merely two-
dimensional phenomena. I try to bring it to you this coming weekend...

My beloved companion during that time...
THANK YOU

THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING
Today I had to go down to the lake. I live in a small village... high enough that I rarely
see clouds above me here. It has gotten warmer over the last few days and the snow
has almost melted away. Of course, winter isn't over yet, but today was the first day
of spring. I had the feeling that it would be better to take my old, small INOX with me.
A good thing -- otherwise I certainly would have been quite annoyed with myself...
There was thick fog over Lake Constance, which kept the temperatures down, but
despite everything, I had a few nice hours and later the afternoon the fog faded.

Hello michael
Thank you for your thoughtful sharing.I do like these photographs. I find your images quite evocative, conveying a sense of tranquility. What I mean is that these pictures are very compelling, but in a very peaceful way.My limited command of English leaves me somewhat at a loss for words; certain concepts from classical Chinese poetry come to mind, though I struggle to translate them. Nevertheless, I recognize these as fine works, and I would readily call them art.

Oh, all the lovely feedbacks,I'm really delighted.
The way you look at it and see it, makes it an
'Work-of-Art'
THANK YOU SO MUCH π π
In the end it opens the gate to infinity....
I wish I could capture the scenes as you did....
A peaceful atmosphere with an awakening nature....
I recognize these as fine works, and I would readily call them art.

---especially when you take photos in such a way that not all the details
are completely clear, the images take on a certain charm. Fog also acts
as a natural soft focus, and no laboratory or lens can completely imitate
its natural appearance. We all know its magic, which is why we easily
recognise it in images. I love to linger in those kind of moments....
And yes, Lake Constance is very special....

JOURNEY BACK HOME
Introduction:
As with my first exhibition, I am quite excited now. Ultimately, that is a
good sign. Publishing something of yourself, or close to your heart,
always carries the risk of being 'hurt'. In this case, that seems to be
doubly true... I was really at my limit in those days and at times I would
have loved to have hidden away somewhere. The ladies really helped
me a lot and also enjoyed it quite a bit teasing me about my insecurity
and showing me who was 'in charge'. They will always have a place in
my heart...
THANK YOU
michael
P.S. ...let me or us know what you think and feel________________________________________
Collaps of concepts
This exhibition really crashed me.
It is an art work of the man I "know" for more than 20 years.
He came to our house after this very journey.
And only now I get a glimpse of who Michael really is.
The story behind those pictures seems so unbelievable.
But being in this Exhibition was like the last piece of puzzle
to get the picture of what experiences someone so special gets offered.
After the first tears of being crashed and the reflection with Michael
I have to say this exhibition is a very important step towards
Expanding my perspective
Thank you Michael

__________________________________________________________________TO REVEAL ONESELF_______
Only people whose hearts are open can go through the world with open eyes.
I have been playing the guitar for several decades. Why am I better at it today?
Of course, I have learned chords, phrases and how to follow a beat, rhythm
and groove. However, the decisive change is something else.
As long as inner reservations and fears are present, everything remains rather
vague. It's like taking off your trousers. It's a super-simple process.
QUESTION: Can you do it even when a stranger is watching you...?

...your feeling of being insecure....

__________________________________________________________________TO REVEAL ONESELF_______
It must be difficult to understand how it felt for me. Is it even possible?
This much: I feel 'it' again right now, and that's exactly what I wanted!
So, what you write reflects neither what the ladies did nor that you
empathise with what I am experiencing right now.
ART and RELATIONSHIPS requires unconditional openness. And yes,
I am absolutely HAPPY to be able to rework these experiences.
Carrying them around silently in a little room is very unhealthy...

_________________________________________________________________SHORT POEM________
Well, one of our members has put a deep feeling into words,
but is still a little unsure about revealing it to all of us in
their own name. That's absolutely fine. I feel honoured
to be able to post this here...
Thank You
