There will always be wars around the globe due to resource scarcity, greed for power, political and ideological conflicts, and many, many other factors. There has practically never been a time on Earth when there has not been a single war. The shortest period without a war since the end of World War 2 lasted only 26 to 30 days, as there have been constant conflicts since then
