Countries and remote places on top of our list to visit for a first time:
- French Polynesia (Bora Bora and Mo'orea)
- Iran (Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd)
- Indonesia (Raja Ampat, Komodo and Borneo)
- Peru (Machu Picchu, Colca Canyon)
- Nepal (Dolpo and EBC)
Very unlikely that we can visit all in this lifetime, but dreaming seems to be permitted in this forum thread. And to add to the list when safety is no longer a concern: Chad and Afghanistan.

I would like to visit South America.

Next month I shall be heading to Kathmandu, Nepal and I shall take the 3-day Mount Kailash kora trek. I think it will be physically demanding and spiritually enriching odyssey. I'm looking forward to it.

Hi Olga, thanks for yur answer. I am aware of this but let me say i have aquaintances in several areas of this big country. India is a multi cultural country with different cultures, languages and even different dishes.
I know the videos of disgusting Delhi streetfood if you mean that, but I know too pictures of very tidy restaurants and delicious looking dishes for example in Kerala, token by my friends there.
It's not helpful to remain in prejudices ๐
