1️⃣ What is your job? Can you maybe tell what kind of things you have to do?
I'm a professor of ancient histories, and I work in an institute of history. We have a wide range of tasks, mainly teaching and scholarship. We are also responsible for engaging in other academical networks, contributing to important conferences, publishing in academic presses, and providing reliable sources for researchers.
2️⃣ What do you like about your job? And are there things that you dont like?
History is kind of a flight recorder of mankind and each and every historian is kind of an individual key to that giant box. Without us the box would have remained locked. By the phenomenon of time, past would becomen into pandora's box instead. This tiny key role on the infinite span of existance, is what I like about my job.
3️⃣ What kind of people do you have as colleagues and clients? Are they nice or super serious? And do you see them or are they only online and in other countries?
I do work with other academicians and scholars. We don't have a term such as "cilent" since truth is not for sale. 🙂 To me, academic circles resembles kind of a never ending masquerade: funny guys and gals masked with eccentric faces. Behind the scenes, that's lots of fun.
4️⃣ What do you have to study for your job? And what kind of tips do you have if another person wants to do the same job?
You should have multiple academic degrees for my job. It requires a lifelong dedication to learning and no body will serve this title on a silver platter. If you are not a "Ad Astra per Aspera" person, run after other opportunities.
5️⃣ Will you do another job in the future if you can decide that?
If a wolf dreams on becoming a hound, then I will.
6️⃣ If other people have questions about your job, can they ask it below?
Of course, they can ask.
