Wow, wow, wow... How many times did I see something like "Shut up" or "Get outta here" in only one subject?! OO Aren't we supposed to DISCUSS and SHARE our views instead of defending our countries as if it was some fucking kind of WAR?... We all think in a different way, and we just CAN'T say something like "french/chinese/indians get outta here", it's so easy and childish and it won't help anything! I just can't believe we're not even able to talk together without arguing in 2008...

I just viewed a program about 'the story of India', where they said that Indians came from Africa and Central Asia (From countries that I didn't even know the names of) and that we all, now, have the identity of Indians. I guess, it must be like that for all countries-we're all humans...it's kind of stupid to divide us on the basis of country.

I don't know a lot about China, but I do know something about it. And, yes, I've talked to a Chinese girl, who was truthful enough to admit that while China was not all like the media makes it to be, it's repressive, still. You don't have the right to tell me to shup up!!!

Hem, tibet was totally free until 1793, when the "Mandchous" sent some people to help the Tibet's governement to defend his country against Mongolia (I dont know the english word for...I wanna say the country of Gengis Khan).
There, chineese governement says that the people choosed, acted, organised the Tibet governement. That is why they say that it is a part of China.

At the end of the Mandchou dynastie, Chinas domination was just a symbol. Tibet was free.

But during the colonisation, The great britain asked to the china about things to do in Tibet.
That was saying that Tibet was a part of China wherever this country was free.

In 1904, Great britain send some soldier in the capital of tibet, cause they were afraid of Russian's power in Asia. There, China did not help Tibet... (O! They forgot that it was a part of there country or?)

So, Tibet become under Great Britain's power.. China did like it. In 1907 they signed to keep the tibet like a part of china (The same year, Russia and China signed the same thing) Tibet governement said it was not a possible thing, but there country became more chineese than ever.

In 1908, a Chineese general send an army in Tibet. It was the first time that it was an offensiv attack. It was not to help the Tibet.

but 3 years after came the Chineese revolution. They did not have time to become powerfull. The dalaï lama (Which was in Mongolia) came back in Lhassa and maked the relation between the 2 country ending. I sent the chineese army in china, and the international diplomates in there country. It was the independance of Tibet (in 1911 yes!) But it was the first time, so, they did not act as good as they could have done.

2 years after then, they signed some friendly pacts with there neighbours, and choosed a flag, a money and so, to show that they were independant. The inernational movement accepted the Independance of Tibet.

In 1950, 1 year after the proclamation of the republic of China, China attack the Tibet. That is fool of blood. 1.2 million of tibetans die. 1/6 of the population is in prison, or is working for nothing etc...

In 1959 the Dalaï lama Leave his country to go in a saffer place, in India. In 1963 he create a free governement in India.

Since 1950, more and more chineese people are going to Tibet. Now, there are more chineese people in Tibet than Tibetan people.

I know that you are wrong cos I watch a bit of (free) news-not the China Daily which is censored by the Chinese govt. I see the Tibetans protesting PEACEFULLY in Delhi during the Olympic Torch relay! I see Tibetans who aren't allowed in their own land-Tibet-by the Chinese govt. Yes, I'm stubborn! But, I prefer to call it a strong will! So what if I'm stubborn? And, I don't have anything to do with CNN-I don't even watch it!

If you'd like to know, I had accepted, in an earlier post, that China was, indeed, doing a lot for the Beijing Olympics! But, those things just don't compensate for the lost lives and homes of thousands of Tibetans! Don't you think that Tibetans would, too, have dreamed of living freely in their 'own' country? Why don't you stop the crack-down against the Tibetans and have 'reasonable' peace talk with the Dalai Lama? And, please stop blaming the Dalai lama for everything! It's so childish! Then, I'd come out in full support of China to host the Beijing Olympics!

Wow...don't you really read anything besides 'The China daily'? Haven't you seen any Tibetans (and there were so many of them) protesting (peaceful or not) against the Chinese rule in Tibet? The Tibetans (I mean the great majority) just don't want to live under the Chinese rule. There are stories of members of split families, who haven't met one another from 1999 or something, due to the Chinese rule in Tibet! Does it mean something to you?
Why don't you accept that you haven't seen things from different views? You always see things which your govt. wants you to see! And, your govt. isn't divine, you know, to be right all the time!!! Iraq is still not part of US, cos there are some sensible Americans who protest against their own govt. for occupying Iraq!
You can't question the present generation of their ancestor's mistakes! If you still want to, why don't you stop selling your 'Made in China' to those 'evil' and 'cruel' France and '7 other strong countries'???? It's really stupid!
China's WHAT??? Anthing would describe China but 'independent'!!! If it was independent, you wouldn't have just China Daily as your news paper! I know that there are some other news papers from Shanghai and Taiwan (?), but I'm sure that 'CD' is the paper that a majority of Chinese read!

My actions may not have a direct effect and China may hold the Beijing Olympics! But, I'm sure that at least some more people would come to know that the Tibetans are suffering! That's enough for me, for now.
Yes, India is cautious in helping the Dalai Lama cos it's afraid of damaging its relations with China. But, nor does India prevent the Tibetan demonstrations, unless they turn violent! India just prevented violence during the Olympics Torch relay...It doesn't mean that it supports China with respect to the Tibet issue! And, India did allow a 'parallel Tibet's Olympic Torch relay'.
Well...Do you know that the route was cut short from 9 kms to 2.3 kms due to security reasons? Do you know that many athletes were unhappy cos of the tight security? Do you know about the parallel Tibet relay, which went peacefully? Hmm? A Tibetan woman said that while the Olympic torch was guarded like a 'caged bird', their torch went much more freely! What's the point of Olmpics and stuff without freedom?
How do you know that? Were you in Delhi at the time? Were you with them when they forced their slaves to do work inhumanely? Hmm?
My govt. never forced any of us to believe what it'd have liked us to believe. I can have my own views, independent from that of my govt. And, there's something called diplomacy! That's how all govt.s work!

I'd be very happy if it was, indeed, true! I felt horrid for feeling sorry for my education problems, when I heard about my Chinese friend's school schedule.
No matter how many times you tell, I just can't accept that the issue is about splitting China-it's about freedom!
I don't support violence but we've to be practical. Wars do happen! I'll ask you just one thing...What will ur govt. do if India or any other country invades China? Will it make sure that it doesn't kill any innocent civilians or children when it drops bombs??? How can you simply tell that the Tibetans are 'robbers and devils'? They are humans! They have families, hopes, emotions (including frustration and anger) just like you and me! Some humans turn violent too.
Not just demonstrators...I've witnessed (am still) politicians inciting violence! I'm ashamed but it happens!
Monks are humans at the end of the day! Aren't there any Chinese murderers, robbers, rebels, in your country? Does your country has only saints???
