Thank you!

What scenario are you preparing for in detail?

I can actually imagine something like a civil war...or a zombie apocalypse (in the broadest sense, of course).

Is prepping an expression of perceived helplessness?

😮

Hello @Fleurke !

Actually, I don't always feel anxious, because I believe that constant fear won't change anything, and life is so short that I'd rather live it without stress.

But at the same time, I sometimes have moments of anxiety when I hear about global situations and conflicts, and wonder how they will affect us in the future.

I mean, there is a strange balance between feeling calm and feeling afraid of the unknown.

I will repond tomorrow 😊@Soulfly @Sarahsalah27

@Soulfly A prepper tries to prepare as best as possible for calamities and emergency situations. A well-prepared person increases his chances of survival. It's not about having loads of food, it's about how you can survive if it all becomes unavailable. do you understand? For example, being able to make your own fire, finding edible things in nature... the scenario I think is a nuclear attack and then the fate is over. but let's hope that it will only be in the event of electricity, water and gas being lost. people say world war 3 is coming, honestly, we are already in it. when you see all the countries that are now at war. it's catastrophic.

I understand you. I am not anxious either because I always think about what is to come. but I do like to be prepared for emergencies. I also teach my children things in nature. We often go to large forests where we have built things and hiding places. Unfortunately there are too many global conflicts for the stupidest reasons. Instead of agreement they argue over resources and land. and unfortunately we the common people can't do anything to change it. @Sarahsalah27

a civil/militarian war.

Yes, that's something I could also imagine.

😣😖😫😤😭😭😭

If WW III happened…Maybe I will join in army(Because the law of Chinese mainland states: If China is at war with other countries, Chinese citizens over the age of 18 must be all soldiers, and Chinese people in warring areas leave the war zone directly without being reported by the residents' committee or other relevant departments, and will be punished as treason.)

but ur only 14 boy 🐼

and if the war really happens,it won't last long because of the existence of nuclear weapons and missile. moreover there're over 700 million men in China. in short term,u don't have to join in the army, but in a decade,it's hard to foresee.

be aware of media, if you really concern or wonder or curious about what exactly happens, you can ask the local instead of reading in online/media. cause local will give us honest review/explanation, while in online/media/article, they can manipulate and hyperbole the situation to make us more afraid from what it should be.
