Do you guys think long periods of solitude are a good thing? English

Tell me what you think about this topic.

It depends on the person and the length of the isolation. I prefer being alone, so for me it's the best thing ever, but some people are very social and absolutely need human interaction. And if you spend a year or more all alone or barely seeing other people, it can leave after-effects and mental problems behind.
So yes, it's a good thing, but it's very important to know yourself and your limits to be able to respect them.

Why are you called "the abyss"? Loneliness can make a person fall into the abyss of despair. It happens when you are facing great pain alone. But if your heart is at peace, solitude can become freedom.

I don't think that's a bad thing. I learned to know myself better! 😊

I think it depends whether it's a chosen or imposed solitude. The first is perfectly fine whereas the other might be endured more than enjoyed.

but if you are alone and have no one to talk to and share your pain?

I'm alone too, but sites like this can help sometimes.

sites like this can help you, but real life can be really hard if you are completely alone and if you miss the people who left you

I understand you, really. Real life can be bad! As I told you, I'm also alone, but I found the company and understanding on the internet that I didn't have in real life. I can only imagine how bad it feels to be left alone, but don't lose hope. The world is full of people "like us", maybe one day we will be able to find the company and understanding we're looking for, in real life.

Because I am an abyss

Because I am an abyss
Why???🤔

For me, no. I used to make friends easily. Now I don’t know how to talk to others after staying at home with friends only on the internet for nearly half a year

Sorry for the delay, but apparently there's a limit for texting, and I was past it! 😅 Anyway... Facebook (I've deleted it now), Instagram, old forums still active on topics that interest me, online chat (the few times I managed not to catch p#rverts 😅)...
