well, i must say: as long as the translators are no native speakers but robots (wich it is very often) translators are never accurate.

I have been penpalliong since I were young. I guess from 10 y.o.
Had 3-4 longterm penpals.
Stamps were cheaper then now they are expencive.

On penpal sites you can say if you only want to chat with female ore male in your privacy settings. Altough i only find profiles of females seeking females, not females seeking men, if it ever is like that.
