I have an Idea for the next updates:
1. Why don't we get a extra research thing where we say stuff like: interest in horror and then people with that interest come.
2. why dont we get being a member after one month a extra in the starting page where people, with the same interests are shown.
I think it is also nice if you can see on the profile if that person has not logged in for maybe half a year or longer. Maybe that person is not an active member enough for the XP points but is still online every week or not at all for months. π Maybe that is a good idea. ππ

Yes this was considered, but it needs a massive amount of work to be done well. Here are a couple reasons why it wasn't implemented before:
- most people tend to pick the same categories, thus rendering the whole thing pretty irrelevant
- there is little correlation between having a great discussion with someone and having mutual interests: one could argue you may even have more enjoyable conversations with people different from you because you can discover things you're not familiar with that you otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to.
It is still a good idea and ultimately something that would be a great addition, but probably not in a near future due to lack of time.
