Why could there not be an "Age filter"?

When you search for penpals the search engine already tries to find members around your age. If few show up in the results, it either means there aren't many who match your search criteria, or they haven't signed in in a long time. Hope that helps

The original question was asked before the age range filter was available in the search engine.

However there are also plans to introduce such a feature 🙂

I dont think so. You can set the range tho. It will provide people when you randomly see them on the main home page.
