Disturbing movies with a deep meaning Ταινίες, μουσική, τηλεόραση

Did you ever see a disturbing movie (for example with topics like war, death etc.) but with a deep meaning? In my opinion two of them are “thirteen” (i watched it recently) it’s about a 13yr girl who gets dragged into the world of adults and “life is beautiful “ about nazism.

I watched with my mom last year the old movie A beautiful Mind. And we were shocked because a lot that you saw in the movie was not real but only in his head because he was schizofrenical. But you only understand that later in the movie.

The movies you said I am afraid with those kind of movies that it becomes to real in my head. I dont know how to explain that. But with 13 is that a positive movie or with bad ending? 😬🙄

It’s with a good ending that makes you think a lot,and the interesting thing is seeing the psychological part of how the characters in that movie think. I love psychology and every time i watch a movie or tv show i like to analyze the characters’s personality based on their childhood for example. In disturbing movies like that you can understand a lot about many different topics

So maybe you become a psychologist? If you dont become an actress would you like to study that maybe? I think that would be cool if you can do that. ❤️

For me it is sometimes difficult to get some pictures from a movie like shocking things or bad ending out of my head. So if 13 has a good and happy end that is maybe better to watch than Life is Beautiful because I am afraid maybe that movie has very shocking images that you feel uncomfortable too long. 😵😵‍💫

And I think every Disney has a deep meaning!! 😛 Sorry that is a joke 🙂

The cook the thief his wife and her lover

That is really nice that your parents are both psychologists! I did not know that yet! 🙂 Really cool 😛

And Chris I did not yet watch Schindler List because I am afraid that it is too shocking and you can see it on the tv very visual everything. But everybody says it is a VERY good movie.

Saving private Ryan is one of the most realistic war movies of all times.
The opening scene at the Normandy beach was so realistic, that even veterans were afraid to get a trauma by watching it.

The famous jewish girl in the red jacked (one of two colored elements in the black/white movie has been forbidden to watch the movie until she was 16.

Anne Frank movies are emotional as well.

How do you know that the depiction of the war is realistic?
You can't judge that, you weren't there.

The veterans told by themselves and Spielberg cooperated with them.

Well, the veterans were, so if they're afraid to get a trauma by watching, it's likely to be realistic 🤷‍♀️

Also, the boy in the striped pyjamas really is heartbreaking

I'd recommend "Dogville" of Lars von Trier. One of the bravest observations on the true psyche and nature of humanity. It's not limited with offering a deep moral impact only. You simply watch "A quiet little town not far from where ever you are".
