My favorite group is one most people have never heard of and they broke up years ago. It's 100 Watt Smile out of San Francisco. I got to see them play three times when they were together and they were wonderful. Their leader was Carrie Bradley (Ed's Redeeming Qualities, 100 Watt Smile, Breeders) who did the initial demos for The Breeders with Kim Deal (Pixies, Breeders, The Amps) and Tanya Donelly (Thowing Muses, Breeders, Belly). She also played with The Breeders live for a while.
