Sorry it was a bit late so i did not see your message anymore! But maybe some extra emojis are always nice but only if you have time and it is only just for fun. There is a big emoji list here: emojicopy.com We can do an emoji election on PPG! 😛 If that is nice i can make a new forum. 🙂

The current list was handpicked so that we don't have tons and tons of emojis to go through when we want to select one. Technically we could include all of them, but it would be a nightmare to find a specific one without proper categorization and search ability (which would need to be implemented in all languages supported on PPG). These are in turn doable, but would require a significant amount of work to the detriment of other features that more people would get value from. It's all bout ROI 😁.

And keep in mind this only applies to message reactions, which are a very limited use case: you can still use every emoji under the sun when typing messages

ROI means Return On Investment. It's the ratio between how much work something requires and how much value it will generate. As a maker you want to generate as much value as possible for as little work as possible. Similarly, you absolutely want to avoid working a lot for something that will bring little value.

Back in the day, other members would help if they were native speakers (there was a special page where people could make suggestions in translation files). More recently I've used Google Translate to fill in the blanks, but now it's mostly AI.
