Does anybody perhaps have a good suggestion for a travel camera (i.e. compact; not the size of a rocket launcher)?
Both the auto function as well as manual settings which are manageable for an amateur are important considerations - as well as of course the more technical specs.
It is intended for landscapes and wildlife (my two children are part of the latter category - at least based on their behaviour).
