Sorry, because that's a no for me. After seeing Turkey with my own eyes, I would never give anything... Not because people don't deserve help, but because it's been decades that even I, as a foreigner, hear that Turkey is under threat of massive Earthquake around Stanbul and the SOuth East, yet I've seen absolutely nothing done in the biggest city against earthquakes. No building there seem to meet earthquake-resilience "norms" of any sort and I wouldn't feel safe anywhere there if such incident occured.

It's like your government doesn't give a damn about people and being in a high risk area...

Good luck though.

I can't say anything about your thoughts and ideas. I just made my announcement in case anyone wants to help.

We also wish you good luck in the self evolution in "humanity." Because in my book of life, those who tries to politise over / on such disasters are nothing but "primitive life forms." Your grandiloquent words in lack of empathy, extends beyond bipeds. Let alone earthquake-resilience "norms" and get trained on "conscientious norms" a bit. Or don't and hang in these forums as a "wannabe chatterati."

I am eternally grateful to hundreds of people from various countries, served in search and rescue operations under the most difficult circumstances. Their only reason for being here was to save lives. They are the virtuous heroes appeared just in time.

Spare me your virtue signaling (or dehumanization) for it's also pragmatic. If nothing has been done to prevent, why would I assume that what I send will be fully used to cure. Futhermore, internet hahs proven to be quite tricky with this kind of demands.

Ps: I can imagine that you especially are emotionally involved in this tragedy, being Turkish, maybe having relatives there, and I gladly admit that my words are not the nicest when it comes to display the usual share of what people call "empathy", still I prefer to avoid or decrease te severity of a disaster rather than curing while crying.

Lianshen muokkasi tätä .

I've watched two bodies and one man be rescued live on video.

No one came to the rescue of the Syrians because of fear of political retaliation in a hands-off area.
