Mahasona the monster with bear head

We had a dragon in Cracow. He lived in the cave under Wawel Hill. I mean, he just slept there and probably... eat. At the entrance of Wawel Cathedra, there are his bones hanging on the chain. And legend says, that when these bones will fall, the Poland will fall too.

wow it's cool man!🤩

The Karakoncolos is a variety of the bogeyman from Northeast Anatolian Turkish and Bulgarian folklore. - merely troublesome and rather harmless, but sometimes truly evil . It has thick hairy fur like the Sasquatch. The name probably comes from the Greek Kalikantzaros. Due to the late Ottoman Turkish myth, they appear on the first ten days of Zemheri, 'the dreadful cold', when they stand on the murky corners, and ask ordinary questions to the passers-by. In order to avoid their mischief, one should answer each question, using the word "kara" (Turkish for 'black'), otherwise the creature would hit the victim dead with its harrow.

It is also told in Turkish folklore that the Karakoncolos call people out at the cold Zemheri nights, imitating the one's familiar voices. If one cannot wake up from the charm, one freezes to death.

https://www.euregio-im-bild.de/fotos/bahkauv-ein-brunnen-in-aachen.html In my home town of Aachen, we have the legend of the monster: Bahkauv, which is dialect and in standard-german it is means "Bachkalb" means: "creek cow", but it was not a cow, but a chimera! This legend is very cool, because the bahkauv lives in the city-zone of pubs and nightlife in the sewers. If in a family a husband went out to the pubs, the wife could call the bahkauv and this monster will wait outside the pub for the drunken husband and then it bahkauv climbs on the shoulder of the drunken man and tortures him...🙂 local legends are very often funny! ....still today the part of the town is full of pubs, but no Bahkauv anymore 🙁

There is a plethora of it in Brittany.

Korriganed: Small creatures close to leprechauns (korr - dwarf, ig - small, an - small... literally, small small dwarf). They are mostly described as ugly (except females) and can be either greatly rewarding//generous to someone or being tricky and evil. They live near dolmen and menhir, party all night and will challenge people bothering them leading to a reward if you succeed or just you being completely doomed if you fail.

Ankou: Personification of Death. It's the last dead of the year who comes to get people's soul at night. He has a reversed scythes and move in a squeaking carriage (if you heard it, you or someone in your family die within the year)

Else, there is the Devil walking in some part that might appear extremely nice, headless horse, talking pets (usually giving bad news in azddition to the probably heart strike to see your dog talking all of a sudden), night washerwomen that are dead creatures and various creatures of the small people (such as fairies)
