Hey party people,
for quite some time I have been thinking now of the following idea: how about we organize a meeting of fellow penpal gate members?
Over the few years I have been on this site, I had the pleasure to talk to many people either via the chat, mails or other media. I (virtually) met a lot of nice people here and had some nice discussions. Some of the people actually come from places not to far from where I live. So, why not take this to the next level? More specifically, what I have in mind is we organize like a city excursion. At least from my experience, people here are very interested in seeing different places and learning a bit about the culture, so we could do like a one day city trip. Of course, this limits the amount of people who can come - probably people from Argentina will not show up for one day - but I guess there are already quite some people here who would show up for one day to Cologne or Aachen.
So, I was interested to hear your opinion about it. Would anybody be interested to participate? If some people find this idea interesting, I would be happy to make these plans a bit more concrete.
At last, I know there is currently Covid and this makes the situation a bit more difficult but I think we can adapt to the situation.
