I have an archive where I keep the letters and Ivd got about 17 letters for now. Most of them are simple letters with text but in one i got additionally a big drawing and in another one I got cute stickers from Taiwan.
From my experience the only problem I struggle with is that the post cannot find address or simply cannot send to specific country.
If PO box is a post office box, no i haven't rent it
Advice, always ask for full addresses and ask your penpal to write address in their language and writing system and then ask where is the name, street etc... If you don't know that language or cannot read anything.
Anlther tip, if you can pay more for faster sending to countries which are far away then just buy this because. For example economic sending to Korea from Poland takes month, sending with priority which is just 1pln more than economic takes not much more than 2 weeks.

Do you write in Korean for the Korea address? How does your local post office read the address?
