Getting hair cuts in foreign countries

I'm planning to visit Japan at least once in my life (sadly not in the near future) over a period of a few month.
Now a question popped up in my mind.
Did you ever have had problems with getting a new hair cut?
Of course I'm interested in Japan but that doesn't mean you can't tell me your experiences in other countries.
I'm curious to know 🙂

Erm my hairs short so nope. Lol. In japan they would have photos so just point to the one you want. Your hair shouldn't grow that fast though.
