  • Something to tell the world!

Hello I'm Sandra, nice to meet you!
I hope to find new friends and learn about other countries and cultures.

I'm open for everything. Also for exchanging letters, sending packages etc... 🙂

Like you can see I'm able to write in English and my native language is German. Currently I'm trying to learn Japanese but I'm not fluent enough to even start a conversation.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

I love talking about books, plants and gardening, music, kpop, languages, culture and countries but also everything else 😉
    Also I'm interested in photography...

Ich liebe es über Bücher, Pflanzen und Gärtnerei, Musik, Kpop, Sprachen, Kultur und andere Länder zu reden, aber auch über alles andere 😉
Außerdem bin ich am Fotografieren interessiert...

  • Living abroad for one year

Definitely Japan. South Korea is an alternative but I tend much more to Japan.

Definitiv Japan. Alternativ würde noch Südkorea in Frage kommen, aber eigentlich eher Japan.

  • My interests in other cultures

Everything! I'm very interested in everything new, especially asian countries.

Alles! Ich bin an allem Neuen sehr interessiert, besonders aber an asiatischen Ländern.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

I seldom watch movies but I used to read a lot of books. Qurrently I'm really into Webnovels.
I really love all books by Walter Moers.
Besides him my favorite authors are
    Larry Correia
    Sebastian Fitzek
    Veit Etzold
    Tess Gerritsen
    Naomi Novik
    Chris Bradford
And I like the books from James M. Ward. Sadly there's no third book written by him.
And I love the BBC serie Sherlock 💜

  • Cities and countries I have visited

Around 2013 I visited Spain with a group of other youths. I don't know the name of the region anymore but we went to Barcelona once.

In 2015 I made a class trip with my Greek course to Greece for two weeks. We traveled around to look at ruins and went to a museum in Athen.

In 2017 my class went hiking in the alps for 5 days. We started somewhere in Italy and stopped in Monaco. From there we took a bus to France and stayed there for another 3 days.
And one day I'll go hiking there again!

  • I recently learnt...

I learned to lower my expecations for myself and to be more accepting of my strengths and weaknesses.

  • 10 years from now

I hope to be happy with my life and everything I achieved till then. Also I hope I can speak Japanese fluently and to have visited Japan at least once.

  • Childhood pleasures

I loved being outside playing in mud 😉
But also since I started to learn how to read I was a bookworm.

  • I'm excited about...

    Kpop and books.
    Gardening and photography.
    Thit and that.

  • A personal challenge

The hardest thing I did? I thought long but besides staying alive and living nothing else comes to my mind. Life isn't easy.

  • My proudest accomplishments

Being healthy (I'm not but still...)
