I just wanted to know why the heart beats?

The heart is a pump, if you hold a pump you have to operate it to make it work, so every time the action beats ... it's a continuous movement between the blood circulation and the heart, it's called the cardiovascular system. Life is a magic

I see curiosity as something to be celebrated, not forgiven. I hope you can embrace your curiosity and appreciate the knowledge it brings into your life.

I see the question as somewhat of a chicken and egg question. The answer is different depending on what your view of creation is. If you believe people, animals, the world and universe were created by a god or some other supernatural being then the heart beats because that's the way the creator designed living things. However if you believe in evolution then the heart beats because organisms developed the heart to move blood around their bodies which provides the cells of the body with energy and oxygen allowing them to function in a multi cell organism.

Put Your head on the chest of Your lover, and You will hear and feel how awesome heart beat is. It's different than listening our own heartbeat.

Oh, with animals it also works. Once, the dog who was my friend, get so close to my head when I was sleeping, that I heard everything what was going on in his... Um. Well. Body. It was stomach blgblgblgblg. Very relaxing thing. Okay, it's not heartbeat, but You should try this.

Nothing to forgive. As it has been mentionned, the heart is a pump, and thus the pump will beats to make the blood circulating all around your body in order for your cells to get their part of dioxygen which they need to produce energy and work properly.
In other words, you breath O2 ==> it goes to your lungs ==> cells inyour blood captur that O2 and the heart will beat/act as a pump to bring this O2 to, let's say, the cells of your stomach, of your legs, brain... ==> The cells will use the O2 to make energy and release CO2 ==> Blood will carry CO2 back to your lungs and you'll expell it out of the body.

It's a little bit more complicated than that actually (The O2 is part of a long process in which it is actually reduced into H2O (water) and not into CO2 which is the waste of a complete oxydation of glucose, but both are very linked), but it's more or less a summary

because music is in our soul, that's why heart "beats"🎵🎶💓😂(music in my soul but I can't sing😶😂)
