😊😇 New ideas for PPG 💡🏆

Hellooo everybody!! 🙋‍♀️ Bc there is now a new way that PPG looks i thought it is maybe nice to also think of new ideas or maybe things that other ppl already said and we can talk abt it. And maybe @Etienne likes the new ideas or not.

One idea i want to say and it is also why i made this forum is i think that there should be maybe part for only adults. And i know it was already discussed some time ago BUTTTT sometimes i see forums and it has photos im really not comfortable and i know if others want that it is ok but then maybe for adult forum. ORRRR that u write in the title it is only for adults so u dont feel really uncomfortable. 😬😬🙄 Im not going to mention the forums bc i dont want spoil it or that ppl think about about them so i just want to give that idea maybe to people who still want those forums.

And the second tip is that u can add spaces again if u write forum posts between the paragraphs. Maybe it already works again, but if u see this message without spaces then it does not work yet.

If anybody has also nice ideas maybe just post below and perhaps it is a good idea for PPG. 🌈🌞🌈

Sorry, but I disagree with an "only adults" part. Ppg is for everyone and everybody. It should, in my opinion, not get any seperated stuff. What is your opinion, @Geschrift?

I am glad that separation is banned.

I dont mean fully separation bc like 99% on forum is for everybody. BUTTT already there is separation like if u dont change settings and u are under 18 then adults cant contact u unless u are ok with it. And i think it is a good rule so if u feel comfortable then u can change it like i did bc i have friends also who are older than 18 so i dont mind if it is nice and u feel comfortable.

But only SOMETIMES there are forum posts and i open and just dont feel really comfortable with some things. So maybe if ppl still want those forums then i think it would be better if they have separate part so they can do that but we dont have to feel uncomfortable bc u dont know before opening if it is like that. But if everybody thinks it is a really bad idea then it is ok i guess. 🙄🙄

But i do agree with @LandRoverDiscovery2 and @Geschrift that most of the forum is nice for everybody and it is ok if everybody can read it. That is not what i meant to change but ONLYYY some types posts.

The presence of both adults and minors in the same space can become a problem; This has already happened. On more than one occasion, I’ve had to report individuals who posted photos that were inappropriate for this site; in my view, such people should be banned immediately. I don’t see a clear solution to the issue @Yue mentions. A section reserved exclusively for adults would be very damaging to the site. Let’s be honest: there are many users—both adults and minors—who use the site for dating. I am confident that Etienne will find the right solution.

Maybe people who were born 18 years ago and earlier should start to take into account that minors are present here and they should control themselves from posting inappropriate photos and comments. It's especially disgusting when those perverts groom minors. That's why in my opinion all social media should be 18+ to prevent those creeps to act harmfully. Restricting minors from social media doesn't mean that the site will become sexualised place - it's possible to implement both rules at the same time: to restrict minors and to give immediate bans for sexual content.

Dear teenagers, if anybody starts to groom you or to push you to do aynthing ypu don't want, don't be embarassed to report them - it's not your embarassment, it's their embarassment. Also block them immediately

I have a strong feeling that no one uses this place as a dating site (as far as I know). And an 18+ section seems irrelevant considering most of the users are above 14, and let's be very honest: I seriously don't think any kid at the age of 14 is innocent, they all know ALL kinds of adult talk. so maybe there COULD be a filter, but a ban/restriction may seem out of place. In any case, this website is mostly for people like me who are interested in geopolitics/ politics and want to see how other nation's citizens talk, text and see their/other cultures from their perspective. Another thing which could be added is probably the ability to choose our UI, for the desktop users until like @Etienne said we get upgrades. A separate section for adults would just make this website like omegle which certain users on this site itself have a poor experience with rather recently. For those of us who like a small community which feels safe, the current setup seems near ideal.

PPG is where I "dated" my girlfriend from Austria. It was, though, not via PPG that I first met her. It was via email, via both her realnlife besties.

Thnx everybody for posting and sorryy if what i wrote is maybe exaggerate or that ppl think is super sensitive or stupid. But it is just how i felt. And i think most of PPG works really well like 99% and only sometimes with some forums or messages it can be different. So not really often but can make u uncomfortable sometimes or that it feels not really good. Sorryy if others think differently bc i know some forums others like bc of the debate and i really didnt want to read it anymore. I chatted one time abt that with @TheLOVERofMachines of forum that got closed and i didnt mind it at all but others thought different. But also other forums where some photos are posted also like Lorenzo @Pennarossa2024 said so i hope everybody can maybe also take it into account so it is comfortable for everybody even if ppl think differently abt that.

But this forum is also abt OTHER ideas so if u have ideas that u want to share for PPG that are nice and good ideas u can just do that below.

There is a reason why all normal countries consider 18 as the age of maturity. I think it should be lifted even more, 8 years ago I heard about the research which says nowadays people are mature at the age of 29.

I think my dad still has to grow up when he watches sport bc everytime we get super deaf if he watches that!!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😬😬😬
